Halloween

I spent most of the night playing the Halloween festival in City Folk, so I didn’t have much time to play the GameCube game. But still, I wanted at least a little taste of the action.

The first thing I noticed was how vicious the animals are on GameCube. They don’t stroll around, they CHARGE at you, full speed. Or they’ll hide behind a tree and wait until you’re close and strike. They’re fierce. And it’s not like City Folk where half of the animals are indoors, no. All FIFTEEN of your villagers are outside (no sleeping tonight) and they will all ambush you. The festival is a cakewalk on City Folk, and this is a real challenge…especially if you have limited candy.

Tutu: Fine! I've got ways of dealing with people like you, twinkles! The only beings that don’t harass you are Jack…

Jack: Of course, only a fool would dare go out on Halloween without some candy.…and Tortimer.

Tortimer: It's a smart policy not to walk around with anything you find valuable.Somehow I managed to find Jack twice in a relatively short amount of time. I got the spooky carpet and the spooky sofa.

At one point, I saw a balloon present go by. It was a red one. For some reason, that really stood out to me. I don’t think many balloon presents are red, are they? Or maybe it just stood out because the bright red balloon landed in a bright gold tree.

A balloon present on a red balloon lands in a golden tree.At any rate,  I shook the tree and opened the present. Oddly enough, it contained a bright red apple. I then headed for home. Here are a couple more pictures of my friendly animal neighbors tonight.

Carmen: You loser! Take this, bumpkin!Puck: You have to keep giving candy 'till it hurts! Give all you've got!
