I started up the game and it was snowing. The Christmas music was also playing, with heavy use of jingle bells. And of course there are still lights on the trees, so it all has a festive atmosphere.
Tom Nook wasn’t feeling so festive though, as his daily flyer advertised an item not usually associated with Christmas.
I caught up with Jingle, the black-nosed reindeer.
I also talked to many of my animals. Baabara, being the horrible sheep she is :P, had nothing nice to say.
I found Jingle a couple more times, but you have to find him five times before he will start giving you Jingle furniture. That’s a bit of a pain, and it’s the main reason I prefer Christmas Eve on City Folk instead. I didn’t play the GameCube game long enough to find him five times, but I still wanted to play the game and talk to Jingle at least a couple times.
