More Fishing and an Island Trip

I started up the game around 5:15 p.m., which means I got to hear the 5 p.m. music…one of my favorites. I went to Nook’s to sell my fish from last night. I also saw they had a taiko drum on sale. It just reminded me of the Taiko Drum Master games. And it made me sad, because they keep announcing all these Taiko Drum Master games for Wii in Japan, and they never got released in America.

Timmy: Does a taiko drum interest you?I talked to Puck and he asked me if I have a Game Boy Advance. I told him yes, and he talked about connecting the Game Boy Advance to the GameCube to visit the island. He said he wants to ride the boat and let his fingers dangle in the water. But Puck…you don’t have fingers.

Puck: I want to go for a boat ride and let my fingers dangle in the water!I talked to Static, and he told me had a cherry. He then tried to sell it to me for 2,720 bells. No thanks. Even though it’s a foreign fruit, I already have cherry trees planted in Forest. If I didn’t have one already, that would be different. But since I didn’t need it, I declined his “generous” offer.

Static: Listen close. I've got a cherry. Heh heh heh.I then did some fishing in the sea bass-free ocean. I was having a better barred knifejaw-to-red snapper ratio than I did yesterday. Barred knifejaws sell for 5,000 bells, while red snappers only sell for 3,000 bells.

My pockets full of fish.I then decided to clear some clutter in my house by taking some things to the island. I think this may have been my first visit to the island in over a year!

Ankha: It's been really, really long since I saw you, in my tomb. After that brief chat with Ankha, I put those items into my island house. My room there is a horribly cluttered mess of jingle items, beach/island items, igloo items, gyroids, and other miscellaneous crap.

My messy island house.I returned to the mainland and did some more fishing until I had over 200,000 bells to deposit into my bank account.

Depositing 202,734 bells into my account.
