After starting up the game today, I went to meet my newest neighbor Coco.
When I talked to Puck, he was wondering if he should choose lunch or friendly conversation. The correct answer is lunch. Go eat, Puck.
Up at Nookington’s, I decided to buy this chevron shirt.
I also went to talk to Tom, but he didn’t have much to say.
I then decided to do something I haven’t done in quite a while: Visit the museum! I had practically forgotten how it looked. I started out in the bug room. It’s a lot smaller than it is in later Animal Crossing games, but that’s true of all of the museum rooms.
I went clockwise from one room to the next. The art gallery was my next stop.
After that, I headed into the fossil room.
And my last stop was the aquarium. I’ve always liked how you can change the camera to get a good view of the frog up on the lily pad.
That was a nice blast from the past hanging out in there for a while. It’s so easy to completely forget about the museum once you’ve donated all of the exhibits, so it’s good to return for a look every now and again.
Anyway, I noticed that I had two gold shovels in my pockets. I didn’t need them both, so I went up to Nook’s to sell one. Of course he won’t buy it from you, but he will take it off your hands for free. He’ll even pretend to get excited by the free gift.
