Today is Valentine’s Day, and my female villagers sent me valentines in the mail. They also attached gifts to the letters. Here’s a list of what they all sent me:
- Petunia: big dot shirt
- Maple: yellow bolero
- Sydney: flicker shirt
- Candi: slot machine
- Emerald: wet roadway sign
- Ursala: kiddie dresser
- Belle: bear pole
Yeah, what says “I love you” better than a slot machine or a wet roadway sign?
But my valentine from Belle was particularly creepy. It wasn’t just the words she used, but also the stationery she chose.
After selling all my gifts (yes, how awful of me), I began my walk around town. Puck was telling me he’s been really hungry lately. He didn’t know if it was because of the cold temperatures or if he’s in love…
I found Candi inside an igloo, but she didn’t appreciate me being in there with her. How rude.
Over by the wishing well, I saw Tortimer. At first, I thought it was because of Valentine’s Day. But he’s just going on vacation and he wants me to turn on the lighthouse for him while he’s gone. I’m not going to do it, at least not every day, so I’m sure he’ll be furious at me when he returns.
Near the top of my ramp, I met my new neighbor Mitzi. She accused me of giving her a heart attack just by saying hello. Whatever, you drama queen.
I then finished up my day by mailing some fossils away to be identified. I also pulled some weeds on the way back home.
Just one last note about the GameCube version of Animal Crossing. One advantage that often gets overlooked is that if you want to have two towns in this Animal Crossing game, all you need is two memory cards. To have two towns in New Leaf, you would need to buy a second copy of the game!
I remember having Mitzi in my town! She was really nice.
