As I started up the game tonight, I found a goodbye letter in the mail: Sandy has deserted me.
Nook’s was already closed for the night, so I was unable to unload my fossils or buy new paint for my roof. But I did find a new house belonging to Savannah the zebra! I’ve wanted Savannah for a long time! Unfortunately, she was already asleep. Hopefully I’ll get to meet her before she moves out.
When it got close to midnight, I headed over to the lake to check out the New Year’s Eve festivities. Tom, Tortimer, Ursala, and Maple were there to count down the minutes until 2016. Tad was also there, but he was on the other side of the lake by himself.
Once the timer reached zero, Maple began singing and Ursala set off some party poppers. Fireworks started going off, and I could see their reflection in the lake. Happy New Year!
After watching the fireworks for a bit, I left the party to walk around town.
Away from the lake, the game plays a version of Auld Lang Syne that I really enjoy. Over by the wishing well, Baabara tried to convince me that she’s a serious snowboarder. Sorry Baabara, but it’s January 1st, not April 1st.
I visited Hank for a bit and then stood around to enjoy the music before ending my game for the night. I hope you all have a great New Year’s and a wonderful 2016!
Here is a video of the New Year’s Eve celebration:
Ok I may seem like a complete idiot but where did you happen to get the Wii version for the Animal crossing wild world or city folk I forgot which one this one is.
The Wii version is called City Folk. If your local scores don’t have it, you can get it from Amazon. This blog is about the GameCube game, though. I have a separate blog for City Folk here.
DO YOU REMEMBER ME? I USED TO COMMENT ON UR ACGC BLOG ALL THE TIME LIKE A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO BECAUSE YOU HATED JAMBETTE THE GREEN FROG WELL IM BACK I HOPE YOU REMEMBER ME
I SAID I WAS JAMBETTE THE SOVIET SPY
Haha welcome back, Jambette!
