Sadly, Savannah has moved out of town before I got the chance to meet her. I know, it’s my own fault for not playing the game frequently enough, but it’s still disappointing to see her go.
There was an igloo near Candi’s house, so I went inside and found Maple the bear cub. When I spoke to her, she took a liking to my ptera right wing (I got it in the mail from the Farway Museum). She wanted me to play a game, where I pick a card that has a price on it. She would then buy my wing for that price. I agreed, and I picked card #3. She ended up buying the wing for 1,230 bells–which was surely one of the middle prices.
I spoke with Hank over by Nookington’s, and I accidentally asked him for a job. He asked me to pick up his Game Boy from Belle. No problem, buhk buhk.
I met up with Static outside of his house. He told me he learned some things from Crazy Redd, and he decided to become a con man businessman too. So he told me he would list five items, and I would be required to buy one. Not cool. I was waiting for an item under 1,000 bells–but no item was priced that low. I ended up buying the fifth item, a conga drum, for 1,870 bells.
Fortunately, I had a pitfall in my pockets that I found earlier. I put it to good use.
I tracked down Belle, and not surprisingly, she did not have Hank’s Game Boy. She loaned it to Candi.
I then went up to Candi’s house and she gave me the Game Boy. Often, these item-fetching quests go on a lot longer than this, so I was glad to get the Game Boy back. Too bad I can’t play it…
Sydney was telling me how she likes to bury items in holes, and then later forgets where she buried them. She asked if I had the same problem, and I said no. But she took that as an insult somehow and got really mad at me. I felt like I didn’t deserve her anger, so I started pushing her around. She’s lucky I already used my pitfall on Static. She said I was passive-aggressive and she actually told me to get some therapy! 😀
I found a new house in town, and Peaches the horse was inside. She got startled when she saw me entering her house. She even called me rude. As if there was another way to actually meet her.
After a stop at the post office and the dump, I returned to Hank to give him his Game Boy. He said he didn’t have anything to give me, so he just gave me some money: 572 bells.
After that, I returned home and ended my game for the night. Even though my roof is technically still pink, it’s covered with snow so you can’t see it.
See you next time!
“No, it would be rude if I put a saddle on you and rode you all over town.”
