As I checked my mail today, I was disappointed (but not surprised) to see that Chico has danced his way out of town. Here is a look at his goodbye letter:
I met up with Candi, and she was talking about Wendell’s upcoming visit. She said I should get some wallpaper from him if I want my room to look good. But if I wanted to live in a dump, I was doing just fine. Wow, how rude!
Genji asked me for a new catchphrase to replace “on a bun,” and I agreed it was time for a change. So I told him to say “in a can” instead.
On the cliff near Maple’s house (in the spot where Hank originally lived), I found a new villager’s house. Huck the frog just moved in. I don’t particularly like (or dislike) him, but he’s okay.
Tom offered to sell me a cherry (a foreign fruit) for just 410 bells. Even though I didn’t need it for my town (since I already have every kind of fruit), I still bought the cherry. I can sell it to the other Tom (Tom Nook) for 500 bells, so I’ll make a profit on it. 😛
Speaking of cherries, the cherry blossom festival was underway. It’s held from April 5-7 each year, so I headed over to the wishing well to check out the festivities. Puck and Static were sitting at the table on the left, and Static told me to sit down and have some food. Ha! I wish I could!
Emerald was the dancing animal this year.
Belle and Ursala were sitting at the rude other table. Ursala said that beauty never lasts, and instead fades away. She then told me that I was supposed to say “except for your beauty, Ursala!” Yeah, right. I think she needs some beauty sleep…lots of it. Go hibernate for a few years.
I had a pitfall in my pockets, so I wanted to test something out. I buried it near where Emerald was dancing. It was nothing personal (I like Emerald, after all), but I wanted to see if it was possible to pit her. For research purposes, of course. 😉
However, I was unable to push her while she was doing her dancing routine. Eventually, her routine did take her over the spot where the pitfall was, but she did not fall in.
Oh well. Even though it didn’t pay off, I still enjoy testing the limits of what the game allows. 🙂 Just like how I always try to kick the ball across the river anytime I see one. The ball has never made it to the other side, but I still give it a try each time in hopes that I’ll get lucky.
Last month, I mentioned a video I’m working on. I’ve been playing a lot in temporary towns, and I only need to find one more villager: Woolio. Once I do, I’ll be able to wrap up the project and post the video. I’m hoping it’s just a matter of days, but it’s hard to predict.
When I eventually find Woolio, I’ll be sure to share it on Twitter, so keep an eye out there for any updates. Even if you don’t have a Twitter account, you can still bookmark that page to see my latest tweets if you’d like.
Oh, one other note: I’ve also been playing a bit in my 2nd town of Ohio, and Jambette has finally moved out! That’s always good news. 🙂
Hey Jeff, I was curious about when you are going to update the blog. I know it’s only once a month you upload this. I don’t know if your in the process of updating this or not. I was just curious. I haven’t seen the channel or the blog for about 3 weeks so I don’t know if there is another reason for this delay. (The blog will probably be updated later on so this comment will be pointless.
Yes, I’m planning on posting a new entry tomorrow.
OMG I didn’t think you would reply!! Thank you so much for responding!! Maybe I should be more patient next time….
Are you going to update this Blog? I’m just curious because it’s been a month and I know you update this every month. I haven’t been on the blog lately or on the channel so maybe this is a stupid comment. (It will probably be released soon and this comment will be pointless)
Jeff – I know you like finding bugs and quirks in the Animal Crossing games so I wondered have you ever had a permanently half grown tree in AC-GC?
I planted one months ago and it’s just stuck at day old size.
Yes, I have a few of them in Forest. I think it usually happens because the tree is too close to something else (a building, a rock, or a potential villager house spot). Even if you cut it down and replant it, I’m pretty sure it would do the same thing again.
I actually have Woolio in my town.
Jeff u should do animal crossing pocket camp gameplays
You put a typo, it says wanted live in a dump instead of wanted to live.
Oops! Thanks, I fixed it now.
