I got T-Bone’s goodbye letter in the mail today. He has pulled up his steaks stakes and moved away.
Seconds later, I met his replacement, Doc the bunny. His house is just a bit south of my home acre. He seems like a nice guy.
Crazy Redd is planning a visit to Forest in a couple of days, and many of my villagers warned me about him. Genji got mad just thinking about Redd; he even called Redd a filthy rodent!
Since I last played in early July, it had been seven weeks since I saw my villagers. Some of them were mad about that, and others just seemed sad that they haven’t seen me lately.
Over near the wishing well, Emerald was telling me about the storage trick. You attach furniture to a letter, and then store it at the post office. It’s a helpful trick that comes in handy, considering this game has such limited storage options. The only bad thing is that you can’t tell which item is attached to which letter once it’s in there.
I got my net out and did a little bug-hunting, even though I didn’t spot any valuable bugs out. After I caught a longhorn beetle, Kody asked me about it. He offered me a whopping 2,900 bells. I thought that was a good deal, and Sydney apparently agreed. 😛
Ursala was being rude, as usual, and her catchphrase “unlike you” fit in perfectly when she said this:
As a reminder, we’re just one week away from the start of September. So it’ll soon be the best time of year to make bells! All you have to do is fish in the ocean and get a minimum of 3,000 bells per fish, since the sea bass will be gone. I’ll be sure to participate, so check back in early September for another entry. See you then!
I totally forgot there’s no sea bass in September. Shows how long it’s been since I even thought of the Gamecube game.
