Elmer has trotted out of town, and rode off into the sunset. While it would have been nice to see him stick around (like glue), I guess our bond just wasn’t strong enough. 😉
Today is the last day of May, so that meant it was raffle day. One of the “wonderful” prizes that Tom Nook was giving away was a photo of Tom Nook! Wow, he must really think he’s something special. 😛
I didn’t have any raffle tickets though, so I couldn’t enter the drawing.
Puck the portly penguin tried to convince me that he’s really good at basketball!
I told him I didn’t believe him, and he admitted he was lying. He was just disappointed that he didn’t fool me, even for a second.
He should have said hockey instead. That might be more believable, and it could explain his name.
Queenie the ostrich is my newest neighbor, and she seemed quite rude. Maybe she’s been hanging around Tom too much. 😛
Queenie has lived in Forest before, in the summer of 2011! At this point, it’s pretty common to see villagers return for a second (or even a third) stint in Forest.
Over at the wishing well, Hank told me to leave him alone! You know things are bad when even Hank is in a bad mood!
Just a few other quick notes about today:
- Maple bought my kitschy clock for 3,000 bells. That was especially helpful because I couldn’t sell anything at Nook’s today.
- Tom gave me a free cherry! I cut down a regular tree and planted it.
- Wendell will be visiting Forest soon, and several of my villagers were talking about him.
- I found a pear dresser in the dump.
