Gwen has already moved out of town; I received her goodbye letter in the mail today.
When I ran into Pippy, she asked me if I would give her a new catchphrase to replace “li’l hare.” I knew she likely wouldn’t be sticking around long, so I told her no. However, she refused to take no for an answer!
Since she forced me to pick something, I told her to say “I’m rude.”
I visited Puck, and he was talking about Katrina and her upcoming visit. He said that she just mutters nonsense and takes 50 bells. Too true. ๐
Genji was wondering about my gyroid’s dance moves, so he told me that he’s basically going to stalk my gyroid to learn its secrets.
Ursala told me that she likes igloos, but she thinks she’s above manual labor. So she’s going to wait for someone else to build an igloo, and then just take it for herself. ๐ฎ
Speaking of igloos, I found Emerald in one tonight. She wanted to just eat chowder and warm up by the fire. ๐
Just before wrapping up my game, I met Gwen’s replacement, Opal. Even though she’s a snooty too, I like her much more than Gwen. Welcome to town, Opal!
See you all next time. Never Stop Crossing!
Opal is one of my faves!
She pretty cute. Even though sheโs snooty, sheโll get used to you after a while.
Watch out, Emerald! Looks like Ursula’s about to commit Grand Theft Igloo! ๐
The igloos in the GameCube game hold a special place in my memory for me for just how wonderfully cozy they are- with the delicious looking chowder bubbling away and the soft, calming music…
Waaaay back when I was much younger, when my town’s first “igloo season” came about, I remember spotting one for the very first time! Inside the igloo was a villager I met for the first time as well… It was Punchy the cat!
He was certainly a pretty chill (pun intended ๐) dude and I always remember him associated with that fond memory. ๐
I think I might have a bit of a gambling problem with igloos, but it’s not my fault, normal villagers can sometimes give you half of the bells you have in your pockets!
