Yesterday, I received a letter in the mail from Cashmere. The rude sheep has cashed out and fled town.
Her replacement was Mint the green squirrel. Even though Mint is also a snooty villager, she’s a big improvement over Cashmere. Welcome to town, Mint!
Mint previously lived in my town back in 2011.
Tom gave me a free cherry, and Kody gave me a free pear. Getting two foreign fruits from villagers on the same day, especially for free, is a very rare thing in this game!
Since it’s the first half of September, I went to do some fishing in the ocean.
Unfortunately, the sea bass have started to return by now…but I still caught more good fish (red snappers and barred knifejaws) than sea bass. I filled up my pockets with fish, throwing back any sea bass I caught. I ended up with 11 red snappers and four barred knifejaws, which was good for 53,000 bells. That was more than enough to bump my savings up to 21 million bells.
Today, I asked a few villagers for jobs. Genji asked me for a bug, and I caught him a pill bug. He rewarded me with a groovy wall. Ursala asked me to make a delivery to Dotty, and she gave me a slot machine. And then Belle asked me for a ball…
So I found a volleyball and kicked it back to Belle. She rewarded me with a shrine lantern before joking about kicking me into next week. 😛
Emerald had some kitchen flooring she didn’t need, and she wanted to trade it for the groovy wall that I got from Genji. I didn’t prefer one over the other, so I agreed to the trade.
See you all next time!
Forest is now 20 years old 🙂
Your blogs are really brilliant, Jeff! I’m always excited seeing what’s new! 👍
I also had Mint! But she left a month ago…
Have you encountered all the villagers in acgc in your town? I have been reading your blog for years and noticed many repeat villagers you had years ago
I only started keeping track when I started this blog in 2011, so I can’t be sure if I’ve had them all in Forest. If it’s not all of them, it’s got to be very close.
But if you count my other towns too, then I’ve definitely had them all.
