I received a goodbye letter from Penny the mouse yesterday. She has squeaked her way out of town.
At Nookington’s, I bought myself a deep blue tee and changed into it. I also purchased some sky blue paint for my roof. Hopefully it will last a while.
Since last month, I realized that I can still visit the island even though my GBA SP has a dead battery. I remembered that I can use my GameCube + Game Boy Player to function as the GBA! So I hooked everything up (even though the GameCube wasn’t even connected to a TV), and I headed off to the island. I was able to chat with Ankha for the first time in a long while.
She gave me a mega strumboid back, which I apparently gave her at some point in the past. She then asked me to bring her a harp and a pachira. When I returned to the mainland, I ordered both items from my catalog.
I met up with Penny’s replacement, Pompom the duck. She lived in Forest previously, back in 2011.
Hank was being his usual cheery self, and he made me smile. 🙂
Today, I got my two ordered items in the mail, and I took them out to Ankha on the island. She bought both items from me.
I then left the island and returned again. I wanted to see if she displayed the items; it turns out that she displayed the harp, but not the pachira.
She then asked for my cow print shirt, which is a valuable Gracie exclusive! I decided to give it to her, just because I thought she would look stupid dressed as a cow. 😆
But seeing her look like that was my only reward. She didn’t pay me for the shirt, or even offer anything in trade!
She bought a ptera skull that I had in my pockets, and then she asked me to sign her guestbook once again. I always like dating the notes that I leave.
I helped her out a lot more than I usually do! I then returned to the mainland and headed up to Nookington’s. Today is raffle day, so I couldn’t sell anything. But I always like looking at the raffle prizes, even when I don’t have enough tickets for an entry.
See you all next time! Never Stop Crossing! 🙂
Wow! Ankha used to be a big jerk in the GameCube… But if I had a Game Boy Advance, I’d want to see her.
Hey Jeff!
Thanks! While it isn’t quite the in-depth guide I was hoping for, I won’t complain! For such a guide to be added to “Notable Posts,” it would almost be crucial to include pictures of the GBA screen. But hey, you must learn to crawl before you learn to walk!
On another note, the section “Also New on jvgsjeff” has been removed from the left panel. Personally, I have a shortcut for the ACCF blog, and use that section to check daily for new entries. I’m not sure if this is a simple error, though I kindly ask you to repair this!
Lastly, do you think you’ll be able to get either the Post Office Model in this game or the ABD in ACCF (both for 999,999,999) sometime in your lifetime?

I didn’t say I was making an island guide at all, let alone an in-depth one. Try searching on Google if you’re looking for one of those, because that’s not something I’m planning on making.
I’ve been having issues with that plugin, so I deactivated it for now. But I hope to bring it back at some point.
No, I don’t think I’ll save up 999,999,999 bells in either game.
Update: In the meantime, you can see the latest blog entries from the home page. https://www.jvgs.net
