On Tuesday, I posted a video of a full gameplay session (which was recorded last Saturday). If you think you’d enjoy watching that, here is the video:
I’m not going to detail everything that happened in the video here (including my experience with a camper), but I’m certainly going to point out that Pate moved out and Tutu moved in. (Tutu lived in Forest before, back in 2011-12, so this is a Tutu redo.) 😛
And my savings balance reached 22 million bells during the session.
I played again today, and I visited Tutu in her house. She didn’t seem very happy to see me, and she even seemed annoyed by my presence.
But she continued talking anyway, saying she had wanted to use her umbrella today. So she told me to make it rain or snow!
What does she think this is, a video game or something? Well, it is a video game, but I can’t control the weather! 😛
When I went down by the ocean, I saw a banded dragonfly zoom by me in a flash. It was gone before I could hardly blink (let alone get a net out), so I had no chance to catch it. It was a reminder that those things are almost impossible to catch in this game. I remember having so much trouble getting one all those years ago.
I spoke with Ursala, and she told me that she just painted my roof. Oof.
She said she used a nice earthy color, so I wondered if that meant green. (Find out later in this entry.) 😛
Over by the wishing well, Maple was in a very cheerful mood.
But then she told me that she fell into a pitfall, and her mood changed. She was angry at the time, and she got mad again after she told me about it. 😛 Villager moods change quick in this game.
On the bulletin board, I found a message from Hank about a treasure hunt. He said he buried his favorite thing in Acre C-4. I wondered if it could be a pitfall.
But when I went there, the buried item was just a modern cabinet. Free furniture is always nice, but I’m not sure why that would be Hank’s favorite thing in the world. 😛 I was actually hoping it was a pitfall, just because they’re fairly uncommon in this game…and my villagers frequently deserve to be pushed in one. 😆
When I got back home, I saw that Ursala painted my roof brown. I don’t love it, but I actually don’t hate it either. It looks fairly normal, so I’m not in a rush to repaint it. I’m just glad it’s not yellow, pink, or white.
I hope you’re all enjoying your summer! (Or winter, if you’re among the 10-12% of people living in the southern hemisphere.) See you next time!
I completely forgot your roof in this game is subject to random repainting by your neighbors. Glad that eventually went away in later games.
