Sadly, I received a goodbye letter from Portia in the mail today. Doggone it!
Tom was all stressed out because of the morning aerobics that are still underway (but only through tomorrow).
When I visited Baabara, she wanted me to buy a mystery item for 3,000 bells. I declined, and of course that made her angry. 😛 She told me the item was a neutral corner, and she assumed I regretted my decision. She’ll never learn.
But she wasn’t the rudest villager of the day. That title belonged to Ursula, who wondered how a “steakhead” like me got ahold of a flat stag beetle.
She called it an injustice that a woefully uncultured person such as myself could have one…so she said I should give it to her.
Of course, I refused, and then she acted as if she never really wanted it to begin with. Sour grapes, much?
Rudeness was the theme of the day as I met my new villager, Cashmere. Before she would even introduce herself, she yelled at me to stop shouting. But I was not shouting.
The whole time, her two gyroids were buzzing or screaming, whatever it was, really loudly and obnoxiously! Cashmere should be yelling at her own gyroids, not me! They’re as annoying as her!
When I checked my previous entries to see if Cashmere lived here before, I found that she moved in ten years ago. But the most interesting part is that in 2012, she replaced Portia! Just like she did today! I’ve seen coincidences like this before too, so I’m starting to think there’s some sort of pattern to it all.
I posted a new video today, comparing many aspects of the five main (core) Animal Crossing games. It updates and combines the comparisons I used in previous videos, with some new ones as well. Check it out!
