Scoot, Leigh, and K.K.

It was storming in Forest today. I quickly found this weekend’s summer camper, Scoot. I played his games for a good while, but I didn’t have much luck.

Scoot: You were wrong, so I get ALL of your money! While walking around town, I saw a new animal: A chicken named Leigh, who is apparently Native American.

Leigh: You seem kinda lost to me... Do you live in this town, cutie? The odd thing was that I didn’t get a goodbye letter. I’m not sure how that happened. But apparently, Marcy is the animal who moved out.

I then went to the train station to hear K.K. perform. I didn’t have any requests, so he played a random song for me. That turned out to be K.K. Folk.

K.K.: Let me give you the aircheck for K.K. Folk! The AIRCHECK!After that, I went back to the tent to try more of Scoot’s games. Again, I had no luck. So I ended my game for the night.

Stormy Summer Night

It was storming in Forest tonight. In the mail, I received a flame shirt I had ordered from Nook.

The flame shirt you ordered has arrived.I put the shirt on, walked around town, and saw a yellow tent. This weekend’s summer camper is Rasher. He wasn’t exactly happy to see me.

Rasher: First my sleeping bag has ants in it, and now this.I played his games until I ran out of money and furniture. I continued my journey around town, pulling weeds, and talking to animals. I also went in the lost and found to snatch up all the furniture I could.

Booker: Yes, of course! You can take it, of course.I returned to the tent to play some more games. There is a particular item I was trying for. I needed three of them, but I only got one.

Rasher: At least I got your mini dinkoid out of it.When I ran out of items again, I went to my house and worked on redecorating a little bit. I then went up near the train station to watch K.K. perform. I let him pick a random song and he chose K.K. Casbah.

K.K.: You tapped for tunes? Dig this one, man. K.K. Casbah!Unlike in City Folk, K.K. sings right in your face on GameCube. But you’ve got to give him credit for performing in the pouring rain and lightning.

K.K. performing. After K.K.’s performance was over, I headed for home.

Summer Camper and Fishing Tournament

I checked my mail and saw that I got a goodbye letter from Tutu.

Tutu's goodbye letter.Tortimer was out and about for the fishing tournament. He was being rather bossy, telling me I had to participate. Who does he think he is, the mayor or something? Oh wait…

Tortimer: You do know you have to catch bass for the tournament, right? But I didn’t want to fish right then, because there was a summer camper in town! This is the first weekend of summer campers, so I went in the tent. Samson was this week’s camper. I played one of his games, but it didn’t go so well.

Samson: You were wrong, so I get ALL of your money!Still, I kept playing his games for a while. I did eventually get one camper-exclusive item, a bonfire.

Samson: I hope you're happy with a bonfire...I then went to the lake to check out the fishing tournament.

Hank: The fish I'm gonna catch, it's gonna be so big that I'll need you to help me carry it!I caught one bass to give to Chip.

Chip: Oh, goody! Nice! Hand it over! But it was only 17 inches, and Puck had already caught an 18-incher.

Chip: That one was pretty close. You're almost there. Almost!I gave it a couple more tries, but didn’t catch any more bass, so I gave up on it for the day. I went on a walk around town, pulling weeds and talking to animals. Kody asked me for a new catchphrase and I taught him to say “I’m blue.” Then I talked to him again, and he said he painted my roof. That’s good, because I wanted to get rid of that white roof anyway.

Kody: I painted your roof bright green! That's the only color I had. I'm blue.My house with a green roof.I also met my new neighbor, Marcy the kangaroo.

Marcy: Now that we've met, does that mean we're friends? After that, I worked on my house a little. I have an idea on what to do for my (almost) annual house redecorating, but I need a few more items first. Some can be ordered, but others are harder to come by.
