I dug up the daily glowing spot and found a surprise. Instead of the usual 1,000 bells, I got 30,000 bells! Sweet.

I went around talking to some of my animals, and Belle told me to build a library for her. Sure, I’ll get right on that.

In a rare act of kindness, Static thanked me for being a friend and gave me a green table for free.

I found the daily money rock and got the full seven bags for 13,300 bells.

I saw Tom Hanks Tom and Hank at the bottom of the cliff, near Tom’s house.But then I immediately ran up the ramp, and at the top of the cliff, Hank was already there!

After depositing some money in the bank at the post office, I headed for home.

It was a rainy day in Forest. I got a goodbye letter in the mail; Tiara has moved out.

Wendell the (starving artist) walrus was in town, so I went and caught a fish for him: A cherry salmon.

Wendell appreciated the fish and gave me a sandlot wall in exchange.

I then went to meet my new neighbor. It turned out to be Cleo, who used to live in Forest a long time ago before she moved to my second town Ohio. As far as I know, she still lives there. But of course this Cleo did not remember me.

After stopping at the post office, I went in my house and picked up my box of chocolates off the floor. To my surprise, a roach was underneath! Gross! I’m not eating those chocolates now!

Anyway, here is a look at the sandlot wall that Wendell gave me.

Mayor Tortimer returned from his vacation today. He was at my house to greet me as soon as I started up the game. He thanked me for turning on the lighthouse each night while he was gone.

I received some chocolates as my reward. If you do this in January, you’ll get a lighthouse model instead. But I only did it in February this year, although I have done it in January four times before (and I have four lighthouse models in my basement). Here is a look at the chocolates, which aren’t very exciting.

I talked to Copper at the police station and he informed me that Saharah is in town today. Saharah was also in my City Folk town today too. Even though a lot of people criticize the acre system on GameCube, it is quite helpful…not only for working on perfect town status, but also for quickly finding visitors. Copper tells you the exact acre where the visitor is at that moment.

I talked to Saharah, but I didn’t have a carpet to trade in.
