No Snow, Tutu’s Ball, and Porter

It’s February 25, and that means one thing: The snow is gone! Grass is now green again, and spring is on its way.

The green grass of spring. Also, I changed into a vertigo shirt, as I was a bit tired of the crewel shirt. I made my usual rounds, pulling weeds and digging up fossils. I’ve been making sure the lighthouse gets turned on every night this week and I did it again tonight.

The lighthouse is turned on.Tomorrow is the last night I’ll have to turn it on, and Tortimer should be back from vacation on Monday.

I kicked a basketball into a pond, and Tutu went crazy trying to get it! She was running in place, trying to catch up to it even though it was in the water. It was pretty funny.

Tutu trying to chase the ball in the pond.I mailed some letters at the post office, and on my way back home, I decided to stop and say hello to Porter. Even though I wasn’t taking the train anywhere, I figured I likely hadn’t spoken to him in a couple years, so I thought I would say hi.

Porter: Don't you have anyone special to visit? That's so sad.

Turning on the Lighthouse

This was my first night of lighthouse duty (at least for this year, I have done it several times in the past). After selling some things at Nook’s, I headed to the lighthouse and went inside. I pulled the lever to turn the lighthouse on.

Inside the Animal Crossing lighthouse. After watching the gears spin around for a few seconds, I went outside and admired my work.

Outside the lighthouse after turning it on.With my task done for the night, I just went to the post office to deposit some money and mail some fossils away.

Phyllis: Yes, yes. In it goes!
