Snooty Out, Mallary In

It was a chilly winter night in Forest, but the snow and Christmas lights made it a pleasant place to be.

Christmas trees in my town.I got a goodbye letter in the mail from Snooty.

Snooty's goodbye letter.I went to go meet my new neighbor Mallary. These are the first words she said to me:

Mallary: Stop shouting! I'm right here! I can hear you fine, quackpth!I didn’t do a whole lot tonight, I mainly just talked to some animals and pulled some weeds. It’s nice just to take in the atmosphere and music this time of year.

Winter is Here

I started up the game and saw that not only was it snowing, but snow now covers the ground as well. Winter is here.

Snow in the air and on the ground.I also saw that many trees now have Christmas lights.

Christmas lights on trees.I went around town pulling weeds, talking to animals, and digging up any dig spots I ran across. This one had a pitfall. Pitfalls are fairly rare in this version; it’s not like City Folk, where a new one appears every day.

Check it out! I dug up a pitfall! When I talked to Hank, he wanted me to buy an exotic chest for 3,000 bells. I declined and he said “how about a space heater for 1,000 bells?” I again declined. He got mad, gave me the space heater for free, and then stormed off. Alrighty then. I talked to Sydney and she was getting nostalgic for when she lived in Ohio with Scott. She said Scott sent her the best letters, such as this one:

Hi Sydney. I'm just pretending to like you, friend. From Scott. After finishing my rounds, I stopped at the post office to mail a fossil and deposit some bells, and then I headed for home.

Valise Out, Snooty In, Snow, and Christmas Trees

It was snowing today in Forest.

Snow flurries.I went to Nook’s and saw that he has Christmas trees for sale, so I bought a large one. Even though my house is in-between designs right now, at least I have a Christmas tree.

A large Christmas tree in my house.I got a goodbye letter from Valise, so she is gone. I went to visit my new neighbor, Snooty. I hope I made a good first impression. I think I did.

Snooty: You didn't have to say it like that. I have feelings too, sniffff. You big loser!
