Sunny Sunday

Sorry if this entry is brief. My computer crashed and I lost the more detailed version I had written, and this is just what I can remember of it.

It was a sunny day in Forest. I went to Nookington’s and sold a bunch of items that were clogging up my inventory. I also went around town, talking to animals, pulling some weeds, catching some bugs, and digging up a bunch of gyroids. I found the daily glowing spot and dug up 10,000 bells. I also found the red rock.

I walked by Nibbles’ house and Genji was there with her, steaming mad. I don’t know what she did to make him so angry, but she doesn’t seem to be making friends so far.

I found a cabana table in the dump. I put it in my house so that I can use my journal/calendar. If they’re sitting on the floor, you can’t even use them! So now I can check for upcoming events.

Meeting Nibbles

I started up the game and it was raining. I also still had my blue balloon out from last time. I went to go to Nook’s, but it was closed. It was 10:06…just six minutes late! So I went on to meet Nibbles.

Nookington's was already closed.Nibbles: Now that we've met, does that mean we're friends?I then went home to play some NES Donkey Kong. It’s the game of the week for ACC’s high score contest and I hadn’t even played it this week until now. I ended up with a score of 61,400 points. That’s not very good, and wasn’t even my top score saved in Animal Crossing. But I ran out of time to keep playing, so it will have to do for now.

Donkey Kong in Animal Crossing

Happy 4th of July!

Just to comment on the ACC contest from last week, I ended up getting 2nd place in the Pinball high score contest. This week’s game is Donkey Kong. I have the game in my basement, but I haven’t yet played it for a high score.

Today is the 4th of July, so I went to see the fireworks at the lake. Puck was there fanning himself, and Emerald was dancing around. Baabara and Kitty were also around the lake, enjoying the show. Crazy Redd had a balloon stand set up (there’s always money in the balloon stand!), so I bought a blue balloon from him. Oddly enough, this is the only Animal Crossing game that has fireworks on the 4th of July. I enjoyed them for a while, then stopped at Nook’s and headed home for the night.
