I shot down Gulliver’s UFO yesterday, so I knew he would be on the beach today. So checking for him was the very first thing I did.
I woke him up and handed over the spaceship part he needed, and he gave me…the Mouth of Truth. For some reason, I always want to call it the Mask of Truth. Oh wait, I just figured out why. The Mask of Truth was that mask in the N64 Zelda games, the one that let you talk to those weird stones and decipher their messages. But anyway, back to ACCF. I put the Mask Mouth of Truth in my basement to check it out.
It still changes its face when you press the A button. And even though it makes the shock/disbelief sound, it doesn’t visually show the little burst thing around your head when you would normally do that emotion. On GameCube, it did. And that made it more dramatic. Oh well. I’m still glad to get my first Gulliver item on City Folk. I’ll have to keep trying to shoot him down again and again until I get that Metroid. 🙂
I then watered my flowers, finding one new black rose tonight. At 10:00, it was time to open my gate. T.Zelda and Ben came in. T.Zelda had some cool Final Fantasy patterns that she made and put on display.
I also noticed in Chief’s house that he has three different clocks, all lined up in a row. He must be the most punctual wolf in Forest. Ben and T.Zelda left around 11:00 and I got out my GBA and played some Mario’s Picross until Georgie came over. We hung out for a while, but nobody else came. It’s been pretty quiet in Forest the past few Fridays.
