Again, it was raining in Forest tonight. I love the rainy season. Tom Nook has upgraded Scott’s house, and it now has an upstairs.
I was noticing quite a few rare bugs in the rain, so I decided to go back and forth along the beach, catching bugs and fish for a while. I caught a number of oak silk moths, goliath beetles, rainbow stags, and a hammerhead shark. It was an easy 100k or so.
Catching rare bugs in summer is one of my favorite things to do. I may have to open my gate more often in summer to have some bug-catching nights. And of course August has the fireworks festivals. Those are always fun.
But anyway, the animals in my town kept trying to trade for my rare bugs. One offer was acceptable (~10,500 bells for a rainbow stag), but I turned down the rest. Rosie wanted my goliath beetle in exchange for a blue-trim wall. Uh….no.
