I talked to Curly and he told me he will be leaving town soon. I didn’t try to stop him, since his house has been blocking my path for months. Nothing personal, bacon boy, I just don’t like where you parked your house.

I saw a scorpion outside, so I tried to catch it…and failed.

With it being August 31st, tonight was the last chance to catch the full array of summer bugs. So I took advantage of the situation and caught insects for a while. I also caught a shark. I deposited the money I earned, and my bank account balance topped 8 million bells in the process.

Today was a good day for hybrids (for once). I found three new black roses and one new blue rose. Pierce came up to me and gave me a chainlink fence for free. And I shot down a balloon present and got a brick block out of it. I also spent a little time catching bugs tonight.

I opened my gate at 10:03 tonight. Ronnie, Bushido, and Bradley came in. Bushido was using an old Mii he hasn’t used in a long time…Ness from Earthbound.

After hanging out in my house for a while, we went to Able’s so Ronnie could give Bradley a Gir pattern. I was informed that I had a new neighbor, Anchovy:

We spent some time in Guest’s house, and after a while, Bradley and Bushido left. TZ then came in. Ronnie wanted to do Scott’s maze, so we all went in and ran through it. Jon then came in, and we were catching bugs for a while. At one point, Ronnie was following TZ. I mentioned that he had been on my tail earlier too. So TZ took the opportunity to inform me that humans, in fact, do not have tails.

Good to know. I noticed Ronnie and Jon were both wearing green hats, so I asked if it was green hat day and took a picture. As I was saving the picture, we got disconnected. The picture didn’t save. When I reopened my gate, TZ and Jon returned. Ronnie didn’t.

We decided to play some museum tag. At one point, TZ was it and I was hiding in the fossil room. She saw me and said peek-a-boo. She shouldn’t have done that, because that gave me an opportunity to escape. I ran into the back room and hid in the corner. She went right past me, up the stairs, so I ran back out the door. It was a great escape. Even if she did end up catching me about three minutes later.

So I was “it” and Jon said he’d be right back. I found him in the observatory. I pushed him, and he went through the telescope. When he came back, he couldn’t get out. It appears we unintentionally did a glitch that I hadn’t seen before. It seemed odd that I was able to do it so easily, without even trying, when I had tried that potential glitch many times in the past without luck. He says he doesn’t hack, and hasn’t hacked in two years. Any thoughts on this glitch?
