One new black rose popped up today. Not as good as the past few days, but it’s better than none. Also, a new villager moved in: It’s Bill.

Flowers and an Arapaima
I don’t know if it’s the rain or the season or just pure luck, but hybrids are popping up more often lately. Three new black roses appeared today. I hope this trend continues, because I do want to eventually line all my paths with gold roses. And if I can get 2-3 new black roses a day, that will speed up the process. Even if it does still take a year or two. 😛
I also had a new Jacob’s ladder pop up today. But I really don’t need any more of those. I have a few in my town, and more in storage, but there isn’t anything I need them for. So I put one in the free flower area a few weeks ago, and nobody has taken it. I guess I’ll just start selling them, although they only sell for 90 bells apiece.
I caught an arapaima in the river today, near the top of the waterfall. It sold for 10,000 bells.
Friday Night Forest
It was storming in Forest tonight. It was the first rain I’ve seen in my actual town for a long time…probably mid-July or so. I opened my gate about 10:00 and Chris came in. Pascal was in town, and I didn’t have a scallop on me, so Chris looked for one and found one to give him. He ended up getting a ship compass from Pascal.
Even though the best of the summer bugs are gone, there are still some valuable bugs and fish out now. I caught some rainbow stags, oak silk moths, goliath beetles, and a hammerhead shark. We also went around visiting animals…
And we also went in my houses and just hung out. Nothing too exciting.
Chris left around 11:15. Nobody else ended up visiting, so I closed my gate by 11:30.
