Rain in the City

I started to water my flowers today. After I was about half-way through, I got by the bus stop, so I took the bus to the city. To my surprise, it was raining in the city! I hadn’t seen any rain in either place since July, so I wasn’t expecting that. So I didn’t have to water the rest of my flowers once I got back to town. There should be no wilties for Friday Night Forest tomorrow.

A Clear Path to Losing the Pork

I knew it was coming, and today I got the letter. Curly has left town.

Yo, Jeff, This is it, my last day in Forest! Living here made me realize just how burly I really am. Tell everyone thanks for being so scrawny! -CurlyWith his house out of the way, I can finally replace my path back to the way it was.

Repairing my path through town.I found two new black roses today, which was nice. It’s not very often I get more than one anymore. My hybrid production seems to have slowed over the summer, so I’m hoping it picks back up again now.

I saw Wendell was in town today, but as usual, I don’t need any patterns from him, so I didn’t talk to him. I wish you could get wallpaper from him like you could on GameCube.

Tortimer’s Picnic Basket, Sleepy Frillard, and Butch Fleas

Today is Labor Day, so Tortimer greeted me at town hall and gave me a picnic basket.

Tortimer: Today is Labor Day, sprout. The picnic basket I got from Tortimer.I then went to the theater in the city, and I saw that sleepiness was one of the emotions! That’s a Frillard emotion! It was my first time seeing Frillard in well over a year!

Frillard: Yawn. Time for my nap.Anyway, I went around town watering my flowers. One new black rose appeared today. Butch had fleas when I walked past him, so I got out my net and helped him out. How a net that big can catch a flea, I have no idea.

Butch: I knew something was making me itchy! Bob said I was just paranoid, but this is proof!
