Katie’s Mom Has Got it Goin’ on

Today I got a letter from Katie’s mom, thanking me for reuniting them yesterday.

Hello, Jeff, I really appreciate your efforts the other day, helping bring Katie back home. Please accept this small token of my sincere thanks! -From the Lost Girl's MomShe sent me a music box. I already had one, though.

The music box I received from Katie's mom Kaitlin.I decided to make a change to my town that I mentioned recently. As you may know, I eventually want to replace all flowers that line my paths with gold roses, which don’t need to be watered. I have been keeping my stored up gold roses basically in the middle of my town. But sometimes they get in the way if I need to run and chase a UFO, for example. Plus, I’ve been running out of room there.

So I decided to start lining my path at my dead end with the gold roses. Of course I only used up a fraction of my gold roses to do it, but it’s a start. I moved the red roses that were there to the open area where my gold roses were. Here’s the first look.

Some gold roses lining my path out on my dead end. That’s all for today. I’ll leave you with a picture from a random conversation with Del.

Del: Hey, J-bot, I've got something good for you. Put your hand out and hold still.

New Frog in Town

Nana’s replacement finally arrived today, so I went to meet her. It’s Gigi, a snooty purple frog.

Gigi: Well, hello there! Say, do you live around here?I watered my flowers and found a new black rose. And of course, I had a bunch of new gold roses (read yesterday’s entry to find out why). Katie, the crying kitten who got separated from her mother, was in town.

Katie: WAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! MOMMEEEEEEEEEEEE!Her mom was in Animal C, which is Bradley’s town. Anytime these cats show up in town, I’m not happy about it. I hate the whole missing kitten scenario. The crying is annoying, and also, their presence keeps Pete from showing up, which makes it harder to rule out days that the UFO won’t come. Plus, they stick around for a full week if you don’t reunite them.

But fortunately, Bradley sent me a message, wanting to connect so that we could indeed reunite them tonight. Usually the people don’t want to bother with it, so I was pleasantly surprised that Bradley wanted to get this taken care of. So at 9:00, I headed out to Bradley’s town.

Katie follows me to the gate in ACCF.The cats are now reunited and I don’t have to deal with a crying baby kitten for the rest of the week.

Oops, Dawg, and a Nonexistent Party?

Early today, I realized something… I forgot to play ACCF and water my flowers yesterday! Oops! It’s actually very rare that I completely forget to do it, but that’s what happened yesterday. So I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started the game up.

I found that I had lost some red roses. But thankfully, I don’t believe I lost any black roses. That’s because I generally water them every day. That means they were watered Friday, so none of them would be wilted Saturday, therefore none would be gone today. A lot of them were wilted today, though, naturally. So I watered them all, and I’m going to have a lot of new gold roses tomorrow. I also found two new black roses today, so it actually wasn’t that bad overall.

When I saw Butch today, he asked me for a new catchphrase. I taught him to say “dawg.”

Butch: Thanks to you, I feel like a new animal, dawg!TZ had invited me over for a Halloween party at 9:00 p.m.  I was watching a TV show that ended late because of football, so I couldn’t get there at 9:00. But I did get on my Wii by 9:20. However, her gate was not open at that time. I kept the game on until 9:40 in case she opened her gate, but this is all I saw:

No towns listed.
