Gigi GoneGone, Harvest Festival

I started up the game and checked my mail. To my surprise, there was a goodbye letter from Gigi.

To: Jeff, I'm moving out of town. I hope we bump into each other in Forest, so I can say good-bye in person! If not...farewell! -GigiI also had a letter from Abbey. She sent me a statue of “E.T.”–her brother. It was a spaceman. It was actually an item I needed for my catalog anyway.

The spaceman item in ACCF.I went around town, watering my flowers and talking to some animals. They were getting ready for the harvest festival.

Bob: Do you think there's a monster in my belly?!And of course, Tortimer was at town hall, preparing for the event.

Tortimer: Today's the day we wear our baggiest pants and gorge ourselves silly! Heh heh heh HOORF!I was tired of Kid Cat calling me “Mach Girl,” and he still hasn’t asked me for a catchphrase, so I reported him at town hall. He won’t be calling me that anymore.

Pelly: What seems to be the problem with Kid Cat?I turned the game off for a while, and then came back to it at 6:00. Franklin was out and about, so I stocked up on forks and knives from Tortimer and went Franklin hunting.

Franklin peeks out from behing the museum in ACCF.Skye came over to visit and we searched for Franklin together. Although she didn’t completely know how the festival worked, I tried to fill her in.

Skye speaks with Franklin during the harvest festival in Animal Crossing: City Folk for Wii.She couldn’t get over how cute Franklin was. Him? At one point, I swear she was trying to kiss him when he leaned out from behind a tree! 😀

Anyway, she left around 7:00. I continued to search for Franklin until around 7:45 or so. I sold all the harvest furniture I accumulated and earned about 44,000 bells. Unfortunately, the harvest furniture is worth much less than the spooky and Jingle furniture you can get at Halloween and Christmas. Anyway, I’ll leave you with a picture of Franklin’s worst hiding place of the night.
