While at Nook’s, I was trying to get my daily visitor points from the machine and somehow I accidentally bought an axe. Oops. But I have no need for an axe, so I decided to throw it into the fountain to get rid of it.
Serena pops up and says her normal nonsense I don’t care about. But then, she gives me the axe back! The one time I want her to take my axe, she doesn’t. Oh well, I’ll try again tomorrow.
I watered my flowers and found two new black roses. By then, it was 10:03 and I opened my gate. Bradley and T.Zelda (TZ) came in. Bradley is one of the few visitors on my roster who didn’t have a USB keyboard or Wii Speak, so there was always a communication lag when playing with Bradley. But Bradley now has a USB keyboard to type much quicker than the in-game keyboard allows. And that allowed Bradley’s quick wit to shine through, making me laugh. 😀
TZ brought me some elegant mushrooms, which I ate, and some pitfall seeds, which I didn’t eat. TZ wanted to see Kid Cat, who was her villager before he moved into Forest. She was ecstatic that he moved into my town. We hung out in my house for a while. Of course TZ was telling me how I should decorate my house. I still have the spooky set in my main room. I haven’t decided what to do with that room yet.
Around 10:35, Skye came in. My town was full with what has become the usual suspects. Bradley, Skye, and TZ seem to be my main visitors in recent weeks. We briefly discussing the hacked “sword,” which is HDLC. I said it stood for Hard, Dried Licorice Candy, since it resembles that more than an actual sword. 😀
Bradley suggested we play some sumo. Skye doesn’t usually play sumo, but she gave it a try (and lost) against TZ. I then played Bradley and I won. Before one of the matches, I dug a hole for the pitfall seed and a mole cricket unexpectedly popped out. I guess it was a sumole cricket.
Anyway, I went to the lost and found to get more pitfalls and I found out something new. If you ask Booker what’s new while people are in town, he will tell you who the most recent person to visit was. I did not know that.
TZ and I played one last round of sumo, and I won. After we put the pitfalls away, Bradley (apparently accidentally) knocked some peaches off a tree. I began quoting the Peaches song (by Presidents of the United States of America), and nobody seemed to believe me that that was a real song. Skye guessed that it was from Sesame Street and Bradley guessed it was from the Muppets movie.
Anyway, Bradley suggested the maze room (in Scott’s house), so three of us (all but Skye) went in there for a while and had some fun.
After a while, TZ left, shortly followed by Skye. I showed Bradley the “magnetic” bobbers when fishing in a pond.
Shortly before midnight, Bradley was leaving, so I went on and closed the gate. For a change, I decided to go up to my bed in the attic and save/quit my game the intended way for once.
