Happy Easter, everyone! Today is Bunny Day in Animal Crossing: City Folk. And that means Zipper T. Bunny is in town. He can be found near town hall.
The first time you talk to him, he will tell you the basics of how this holiday festival works.
Many “bunny eggs” will be buried all over town. It’s your job to dig them all up.
From your inventory screen, you can open the eggs. Twelve of them will contain “bunny foils,” which you can take to Zipper to exchange for egg furniture. But most of the eggs will contain candy.
The candy doesn’t really serve a purpose at Easter. You can eat it if you like, or sell it. But I prefer to save mine for Halloween. So I dropped mine off near Guest’s house. Guest is my sugar daddy candy man. Candy storage man, I mean.
It took me a long time to find all twelve bunny foils. The last one was very hard to find. But I did eventually get them all.
I then exchanged the bunny foils for egg furniture. Unlike the other holiday sets, there are no duplicates. You get exactly one of each piece.
After I exchanged them all (one at a time, what a pain!), I then sold my 12 items to Tom Nook. I earned 107,776 bells for the entire set.
But of course I did a few other things today besides just participate in the Bunny Day festivities. I watered my flowers and went to the city to check the new emotions available at the theater. They didn’t have the ones I’m looking for.
Back in Forest, I also talked to many of my animals. Victoria asked me for a new greeting.
Bob asked me why Zipper only comes once a year. He asked if it was because we smell. We? Speak for yourself, stinky litter box boy!
And then Yuka also asked me for a greeting. I really don’t like Yuka.
