Sunday Rainy Sunday

I started up the game and saw it was raining in Forest today, for the first time in a while. Finally, a break from watering flowers. I saw on the bulletin board that Mint won the fishing tournament yesterday. I almost never participate in those any more.

*The Tourney Results* The winner of the 4/14 Fishing Tourney is Mint's 40-inch sea bass! For no apparent reason, I decided to catch a snail. They appear on flowers when it rains. They’re extremely easy to catch.

I caught a snail! Seriously, though... Could you fail to catch a snail?Rocco approached me and said he was considering moving. I barely know Rocco at all. I don’t have anything against him, and I don’t dislike him. But still, if he stays, someone else will be leaving, and it could end up being an animal I like. So I didn’t try to stop him.

Rocco: I'm a wanderer, and I can only stay in one place for so long.I checked my town for new black roses, but there were none today. I talked to the animals I saw out walking around. Victoria is not a fan of the rain.

Victoria: Save the Queen! This rain is FOR SERIOUSLY bumming me out.Del doesn’t like it either.

Del: Sigh... This day is dragging on. Rain is the enemy of fun, Pac-Man.I took the bus to the city to check for this week’s new emotions at the theater. As usual, there was nothing I wanted.

Clerk: What show would you like to see today?Back in Forest, Kid Cat had asked me for a fossil. So I dug up an apato skull (or was it a torso? I forget) and gave it to him. He thanked me and gave me a hearth as a reward.

Kid Cat: I'm remodeling my place so I can display this bad boy! Here is my latest Youtube video, which includes clips from things I mentioned on Friday (including the glitchy, wavy shirt movement):

Friday the 13th Insanity

After watering my flowers, I opened my gate at 10:05 tonight. Yann came in. I shook a tree and a bird feeder fell out! Oops! I guess the birds will have to go hungry now.

A bird feeder that fell out of a tree.Saharah was in town, looking for old carpet. Del gave me his old carpet, complete with all the trimmings.

Del: Well, you came knocking at the right time. I was just about to drag this rug over to her myself! It's all yours!Yann earned enough money to pay off her house, so I went into town hall to congratulate her.

Yann celebrates after paying off her loan at town hall.Continuing my search for old carpet, Alice was the only other villager who gave me one. But I checked my storage, and I had some in there. So I took three old carpets to Saharah and exchanged them for a western desert.

Saharah: Here...a western desert. Very exotic... Treasure it. It is a very rare thing.Jorge then also came over to visit. I went into my house to look at the western desert. On the bright side, it is an item I needed for my catalog checklist. Unfortunately…it looks awful.

The western desert from Saharah on the floor in my golden furniture room in Animal Crossing: City Folk.I offered it to Jorge and Yann; Yann decided to take it. We then went to my main room and played with Yoshi’s egg.

Jorge, Jeff, and Yann playing with Yoshi's egg.We also beat up the punching bag.

Jorge, Yann, and Jeff using a punching bag. Then we went to Scott’s house, where Jorge (as always) had to use the toilet.

Jorge sits on the toilet as Jeff issues a mudslide warning.Somehow we determined that Jorge was pregnant? By this point it was after midnight, so we were all starting to get a little crazy. Or maybe it was the fumes from Jorge’s colossal dump.

Jeff: He's Prego with meatballs. For a good while, Jorge got quiet and disappeared. Yann and I searched and searched for him. I eventually found him in Alice’s house. Before long, we were all playing with Alice’s shave-ice maker. Jorge and I merged.

Jeff and Jorge merged at the shaved-ice maker in Alice's house. We kept experimenting with this glitch, and we found that sometimes it would alternate between our two shirts, undulating in some cool, trippy movements. Needless to say, this picture does not do it justice.

Yann: Nice shirt movement. Jorge: That looks cool. Jeff: Wavy shirt. We stayed in Alice’s house (Wonderland, if you will) for quite a long time. This glitch was cracking us all up and we were having a lot of fun experimenting with it.

Jorge and Jeff merged.Yann also joined in the fun.

Jeff: 4 ears. When we eventually finished up, we went outside and walked down the dead end.

Jeff, Jorge, and Yann standing at the dead end in town.I also talked to Rowan.

Rowan: Don't get me wrong--on the field, I'm all business. But new people make me sweat...unlike you!Bubbles started appearing from the pond, so clearly that could mean only one thing:

Jeff: LOCH NESS MONSTER!Of course it was really just Jorge blowing bubbles on the other side of the pond, but oh well. I was about to end the party when Jorge and Yann started walking around the pond. Sometimes, due to lag, they would appear to walk right across the water. So that provided some more laughs. But before too long, I said my goodnights and indeed ended the party.

Right after the game finished saving, the clock struck 2:00 a.m.  It’s not very often I keep my gate open for four hours, but we had a lot of fun tonight.

Four New Black Roses

Just a short entry today. Del asked me for a new catchphrase. My brain was not fully operational at the time, so I asked my friend Olivia to pick one for Del. She couldn’t think of anything either. So I just went with Pac-Man.

Del: Pac-Man... Pac-Man...I watered my flowers and found a whopping four new black roses! That ties my personal record, which according to this blog, was last April 12. Interesting that my two best hybrid days have come at the same time of year.

Anyway, just a note for those who wish to browse through my previous blog entries. I had a comment about this, so I thought I’d clarify this. In the sidebar of this blog, there is a calendar. If you click on a date, you will jump to that date’s blog entry. You can also scroll through the months, which is helpful if you’re trying to find out how a certain holiday or festival went.

That’s all for now, see you next time!
