Saharah and the Throne

It was raining in my town today. I went into Nook’s and he had a throne for sale for 720,000 bells. I still needed it for my catalog checklist, but that is a lot of money. Even the pieces of furniture at Gracie Grace aren’t nearly that expensive.

Tom Nook: Just 720,000 bells! Don't miss out on it, friend! You want it, yes?So I ultimately decided not to buy it this time. Maybe after I earn my platinum membership I could buy it, since it will be a little cheaper then. Anyway, I went walking around town and talked to Bob.

Bob: Hey brother! It looks like nature is telling us we should take a shower today, in bed!I also spotted Saharah. She was looking for old carpeting.

Saharah: I came from far away. I wish to trade carpets. It is for carpets that I came to your town today.Yuka and Del gave me their old carpets, and I combined that with one I had in storage to get the three necessary for a rare carpet. I gave them to Saharah and she gave me…a basement floor? That was disappointing.

A basement floor on display in my house.

Happy Room Academy

I went back to the Happy Room Academy (HRA) in the city today, and to my surprise, it wasn’t an empty room like it was the other day.

A room with blue furniture as the model room at the Happy Room Academy. The theme was still the same (the most avant-garde room), but this time Yann’s blue room was displayed.

Lyle: This month's winner? Kid from Tropical. Name's Yann. Ya see her? Tell her congrats. While watering my flowers, I saw Pete walking around. I talked to him briefly.

Pete: Yesterday, Phyllis said good night to me after work! Heh heh heh...And Bob asked me for a new greeting. I’m a huge fan of the TV show Arrested Development, so I decided to use Buster Bluth’s catchphrase, “Hey brother.”

Bob: Hey brother! In Bob-ese, it means "Hey there!"

Patty & Pascal

It rained this morning, so I didn’t need to water my flowers today. When I played later on, I went into Nook’s and saw a silver slingshot. I bought it, even though I have one in storage. I may offer it to any visitors I have on Friday. After leaving Nook’s, Patty approached me. She said she was considering moving out of Forest.

Patty: I'm even sick of my house! In fact, I think I'm just gonna move away!I didn’t try to stop her; I just wished her the best of luck. But she got mad at me for not trying to stop her. Whatever, cow.

Anyway, I made my daily walk around town and found a couple of new black roses. When I got to my southernmost bridge, I saw Pascal. I gave him a scallop and he gave me a barrel.

Pascal: Did you ever notice how the moon follows you around? Maybe that's because it's yours, maaan. He then jumped in the river and floated out to sea. So long!

I stand by my windmill and watch Pascal swim out to sea.
