As of yesterday, Yuka is all packed up and ready to leave. She will move out by tomorrow.
Today, I went to the city to check this week’s new emotions.
I then came back to town and watered my flowers. I’m starting to get frustrated by the lack of rain lately. The rain provides occasional breaks from watering, which makes the whole process somewhat tolerable. But when there is no rain and you have to water flowers every single day, it gets to be a pain. On the bright side, I did find two new black roses today.
Around 8:00, I opened my gate for the fireworks festival. Yann came over to visit. I was mostly just catching bugs, but I caught some fish too, like this ocean sunfish.
Around 8:30, Megan also came over to visit. Megan and Yann had both caught rays, so they showed them off while I showed off a Napoleonfish I caught. Egbert quickly came over to see.
He was facing the fish and applauding (for the fireworks), but I know he was really trying to nibble the fish.
I then wondered aloud where my manners were; I forgot to burn Megan!
Yann put on her dandy hat and Megan seemed shocked. She apparently had never seen the dandy hat in City Folk before. I asked if she wanted me to order one for her. Yann then asked who I was talking to… I said Megan obviously, since you already have one. 😛
I then facetiously asked if Yann wanted me to order her one as well. To my surprise, she said yes. I wasn’t sure why she would need me to order her one when she already has one. Never mind the fact that only one hat can be worn at a time, and it would be in her catalog already anyway. But I went on and ordered it. I told her I expect to see her wearing both hats next time. 😛
Once I came out of the store, Kid Cat was there and I talked to him.
And at one point, somebody got me started on blue foods. Blue is an uncommon color for food, so for me, it’s hard to think of blue things as food. That includes blue m&m’s, which are unnatural and don’t grow on real m&m trees. 😉
As for bugs and fish, I earned over 100,000 bells in less than an hour. By the time I closed my gate around 9:30, I finished with 115,000 bells on the night.
