As you may know, I really liked the color/shade of grass we’ve had lately. I know some people didn’t like it, saying it looked boogery or pukey, but I didn’t see it that way at all. But now that it’s October, the color has changed again. It’s now a yellower shade of green and now it looks boogery or pukey.
Anyway, Pete greeted me with a letter from Nintendo about the new DLC–the creepy clock.
As the letter says, the creepy clock is not a regular clock that tells the actual time. The hands spin around rapidly (in reverse, no less) that make it seem as if it’s haunted.
With that, the creepy set is almost complete. The last item will be the creepy wallpaper, which will be sent out starting on October 16th–in plenty of time for Halloween. And speaking of Halloween, I got a letter from Jack, reminding me of the festivities on October 31st.
I also got my monthly statement from the Bank of Nintendo. I earned 76,350 bells in interest this month.
A message was posted on the bulletin board about next Monday. October 8th is Explorer’s Day (better known as Columbus Day).
I then went into Nook’s to buy my first piece of candy for the year. Of course, my Guest character has a couple dozen pieces of candy in storage that I can use as well.
I saw Jambette walking around, so I pitfall’d her.
She didn’t enjoy it, although Eloise sure seemed happy.
And finally, I saw Pascal standing on one of my bridges. I gave him a scallop and he gave me an anchor before he jumped into the river.
