4th Anniversary of ACCF

Today was the 4th anniversary of the game’s release in America. But nothing special happened in the game to commemorate the occasion.

After watering my flowers earlier this evening, I then opened my gate at 10:00. Yann came over to visit. In the Able Sisters’ shop, Sable was sewing a one-ball shirt. But there was already one on display. If nobody wants the first one, why make another?

Jeff: She's sewing another 1.Later, Yann showed off her new Mii. It’s Pikachu!

Jeff acts shocked after seeing Yann's Pikachu Mii.I walked by Amelia and at first I thought she was holding an axe. It was just her wing.

Jeff: Her wing looks like an axe.I also went to visit her counterpart Avery.

Jeff: What's in Avery's head? Dresser: Wha--? It's empty...I did some fishing. Even though there aren’t a lot of great fish out this time of year, I did catch a lobster, a couple koi, and a football fish.

Jeff, holding a football fish: TOUCHDOWN!From the top of the waterfall, Yann caught a fish at the bottom of the waterfall. I tried to time the picture just right, but it didn’t turn out quite as epic as I had hoped.

Yann catches a fish on top of the waterfall.Shortly before midnight, I ended the party for the night.

Meteor Shower, Wisp, and Inigo

A while back, I saw a cool Inigo Montoya Mii by someone called “Andy Anonymous” on a site previously called Mii Plaza. If you don’t know, Inigo Montoya is a character from The Princess Bride. Today, I finally decided to recreate that Mii. Once I did, I had my ACCF character get a makeover at Shampoodle’s.

Harriet: Ta-daaaaaaaa! And you are made OVER!I think it looks pretty good.

Jeff, wearing an Inigo Montoya Mii mask: You killed my father.Anyway, there was a meteor shower in Forest tonight. I stood on the bridge to watch a few of them go by. I also found an empty lamp there.

Jeff standing on the bridge near an empty lamp, as a shooting star flies by overhead.A bit later, I found Wisp. Well actually, he found me.

?????: Ummmmm... I'm so sorry to bother you. I know you must be very busy. When I went closer, he came out of hiding and told me he was missing his lamp.

I encounter Wisp the ghost in Animal Crossing: City Folk.I gave him his lamp and he told me to rub it in my attic. So I did just that. He asked what I wanted, and I chose furniture. He gave me a pear dresser, which was an item I needed for my catalog.

Wisp: OK! Here you go! It's a pear dresser! After that, I continued watering my flowers. There was only one new black rose today. Oh well.

Wi-Fi night is tomorrow.

Banging Rocks for Bob

A message posted on the bulletin board yesterday serves as a reminder that snow is coming soon. I’m looking forward to the snow (in Animal Crossing, that is) because it will end the long, dry autumn and finally give me a break from watering flowers.

~Weather Forecast~ Snow flurries begin in November, and nights and mornings start to get colder. Be careful not to catch a cold!I talked to Bob today and he said he wanted a low-maintenance pet.  So he told me to find him a centipede. Oh yes, what would make a better pet than a centipede? 😮

Bob: That's why I'm thinking that a centipede would be the perfect pet for me!So I went around banging rocks.

Me hitting a rock with my shovel.I found the money rock (for the first time in months, probably) and a pill bug, but no centipede just yet. So I picked the day’s mushrooms, including my mush furniture piece.

I thought it was just a mushroom, but it was really a mush closet!I talked to Egbert, and at first I thought he was impersonating a Furby!

Egbert: Doot doo DOOOOO! And style superhero Fashion Lad--that's me--swoops in with another sweet tip!I finished watering my flowers, and found two new black roses today. With that done, I decided to focus on banging rocks for a while. After about 15 rocks, I finally banged out a centipede.

I caught a centipede! It's got a million legs! Or, you know, a hundred.I returned it to Bob, and he thanked me by giving me a cabin couch.

Bob: A centipede! Sweeeet! You're the best, J-rock!
