Congratulations, You Lost!

To my surprise, I got a letter from Chip in the mail. He said I get a “Good Sport Award.” So basically, he’s congratulating me for losing the tournament.

Results Announcement: The Good Sport Award for the Fishing Tourney on December 8th, 2012, goes to Jeff! Good show! -From ChipThe bulletin board confirmed that Avery won the tournament with his 41-inch sea bass.

*The Tourney Results* Avery is MVP of the 12/8 Fishing Tourney, taking home top prize with a phenomenal 41-inch sea bass!Another bulletin warned of a large snowstorm tomorrow. In fact, that’s a bit misleading. The ground won’t be covered in snow until the 11th, which is Tuesday.

~Snow Warning~ A cold front is moving in, so Forest can expect a large snowstorm tomorrow. Bundle up!I took the bus to the city and checked out the new emotions at the theater.

Available emotions at the theater: Resignation, Distress, Mischief, Delight.I then returned to Forest and watered my flowers. Along the way, I found one new black rose.

I tried to talk to Bob, but he said he had nothing to say, and wanted me to choose the topic of discussion. Of course, there is no way I can actually do that.

Bob: So, lay your funniest story on me, you elf!

Fishing Tournament

Today I received the festive hat and jingle shirt that I ordered from Nook’s last night. So now I’m ready for the Ho-Ho-Holidays.

Jeff dressed up as Santa, wearing a festive hat and Jingle shirt.I was trying to talk to Bob about getting him to stay in town. But the fishing tournament was underway, so all he would talk about was fish.

Bob: But the real question is whether he'll share his sea bass casserole with us tonight! After checking for new black roses (there were none), I decided to try a little fishing myself. The competition was for the largest fish, so naturally I was looking for sea bass. The first big shadow I saw was a lobster.

I caught a lobster! That makes me a lobSTAR!I wasn’t about to give Chip (the fishing tournament judge) my valuable lobster. Although a lobster is worth 2,500 bells, I was thinking it was worth even more than that.

But I was not finding any more large fish shadows. I caught a few medium-sized ones, and ended up with two football fish (also worth 2,500 bells apiece). Believe it or not, it took me 15 minutes before I caught a single sea bass. And when I took it to Chip, it still wasn’t big enough to top Avery’s 41 inch sea bass.

Chip: Ah, a sea bass! Now, let's just measure this tasty fellow, shall we?I didn’t want to spend the whole day searching for sea bass, so I sold my remaining fish and ended my game for the day. I’ll get you next time, Avery. Next time.

Friday Night Fishing

It was snowing in Forest today. When I went into the shop, I saw that Tom Nook had a wheat field for sale. I couldn’t help myself; I went playing in the wheat until Nook kicked me out.

Me standing in a wheat field in Nook 'n' Go.When I talked to Bob, he said he had to move out of Forest. 😮 Sorry Bob, you’re not allowed to leave. Ever.

Bob: Hey, Mr. J, I know this is kinda sudden, but I have to move out of Forest.I told him not to leave, and he said he’ll try to get out of it, but he’s not sure if he can. I’ll have to keep talking to him in the coming days.

At 10:00, I opened my gate for Friday Night Forest. Yann and Megan came over to visit. Megan was wearing the festive hat (Santa hat), which reminded me to order one myself. At one point, Megan dug holes and trapped herself in a corner. It reminded me of when I trapped Bob in that same corner on Halloween.

Megan trapped in a corner, thanks to holes in the ground. We just hung out and acted like our crazy selves.

Jeff: SHE'LL BE BACH. Yann: Swiggaswagger.Megan “accidentally” ate a tile. After this, I had to take her off the admirable list and put her on the impish list.

Jeff: You're going on the impish list.We started doing some fishing. At one point, Yann went on BRB, but after a bit, she was no longer in that same spot and we didn’t know where she was.

Megan: It got away...We went into Nook’s and while we were all trying to push Nook, all three of us ended up merging together.

Jeff, Megan, and Yann standing in the same spot in Nook 'n' Go.We did the Nook’s door glitch, and then we went back to fishing. Megan was trying to catch some of the fish she needed for her list, and she ended up catching three of them tonight. We each caught a sea bootyfly butterfly.

Jeff, Megan, and Yann all showing off sea butterflies. But Megan was the only one of us to catch a coelacanth tonight.

I congratulate Megan, who just caught a coelacanth.I let them take my extra flowers that I had in my free-flower area; they both went home to unload their pockets and came back. We did some of our classic word-association craziness and then I ended the party for the night.
