I’ve played Animal Crossing: City Folk so much over the past 4+ years, that it’s not often I do something I’ve only done once or twice before. But that happened today: I waved to an animal.
Bob was on the other side of the river and looking at me, so I pointed and clicked on him. That made Bob and I wave to each other, and it plays a little chime when it happens too. It’s usually tricky to do, mainly because the emotion overlays get in the way. This is my first time taking a picture of the wave.
As I went around watering flowers, I ran into Avery. He told me that the sky would look pretty tonight. That means there will be Northern Lights.
I also spotted Saharah in town. She was looking for old carpeting. Rowan was snooping in on the conversation.
At 10:00, I opened my gate. Yann came over to visit. Of all my animals, Rowan was the only one who had an old carpet to give me. And I only had one in storage, so once again I got no rare carpet from the hairy camel.
By 10:30, the Northern Lights were in full force.
Yann and I were discussing ideas for a Zelda Kart game. The Zelda universe has enough unique characters, settings, and weapons that Nintendo could make a good racing game using them. They’ve already made seven Mario Kart games, so why not something a little different? Oh well, I can dream.
Anyway, Yann got to meet Caroline (and her demonic eyes) for the first time, as I was shaking a tree for no apparent reason. I later closed my gate for the night.
