Seeking Sunday

Being Sunday, I checked the new emotions at the theater to see if they had “agreement” or “outrage” yet. No luck.

Clerk: What show would you like to see today? While watering my flowers, Egbert approached me, wanting to play hide-and-seek. I agreed. When the following scene first showed on screen, Amelia (who is not one of the animals playing) was standing directly in front of Egbert, facing him. It looked as if she was in formation with the others, but facing the wrong way. It had me confused for a second. Unfortunately, by the time I took a picture, she had started to walk away. It’s a shame, because it would have made a good picture.

Egbert: OK, here are the rules. We'll go hide somewhere in town. But we'll definitely be outside, no yolk.I had ten minutes to find the three of them. Anabelle was the first I found, hiding behind a palm tree in the lower-right part of town (not far from town hall).

Anabelle: You must have, like, seen my big feet sticking out, you elf.Del wasn’t too far away either, hiding behind my house. I had to search for Egbert for a little bit though, but I still found him with around three minutes left on the timer. He was hiding behind the museum.

Egbert peeks out from behind the museum during a game of hide-and-seek.The scene then returned to town hall, where Egbert gave me my reward, a kiddie chair.

Egbert: Since you're so good, I want you to have a kiddie chair!Once I was done in Forest, I started up my Bananas town. But I didn’t play very long; I couldn’t sell fruit because Nook’s was closed for remodeling. Nook ‘n’ Go will become Nookway tomorrow.

A Sad Fish Story

It was snowing in the city tonight. While there, I saw two freaky “rabbits” that used to be neighbors of mine, Francine and Ruby. I use the word rabbits loosely, because I think Francine is really a transvestite in a bunny suit and Ruby is an alien.

Two rabbits, Francine and Ruby, in the snowy city.Back in Forest, I spotted Pascal on a bridge and the Northern Lights in the sky.

Jeff and Pascal, standing back-to-back on the bridge, with the northern lights overhead.Bob asked me to make a delivery to Robin for him. After I did, he rewarded me. With a bucket.

Bob: Oh, that's right... To thank you, I want to give you a bucket! At 10:00, I opened my gate. Megan came over to visit.

Megan enters the castle-shaped gate as the northern lights are visible overhead.I gave Pascal a scallop and he gave me a ship cannon.

Pascal: Water from the hot tap is cold in Alaska. It's true, maaan! I looked it up!We followed him down the river. Megan tried to fish him out and I gave him a drink.

Jeff sprinkles water onto Pascal (floating in the river below) while Megan tries to catch Pascal with her fishing rod.Of course, it’s always punny in Forest.

Megan: Minus infection. Jeff: Minus the sinus.Megan still needed a goldfish, so I was helping her find tiny shadows. Eventually she caught one.

Jeff acts shocked when Megan catches a goldfish. But right after I took that picture, tragedy struck. She didn’t have any space in her pockets, and the game wouldn’t let her swap anything out, so it made her release it! 😮 We continued looking for another tiny shadow, but we never did find another goldfish. Perhaps another time.
