Hide and Seek Time!

It wasn’t raining in Forest when I started up the game tonight, but it was raining in the city. So that still saved me from having to water my flowers. I still made my walk around town, and I found two new black roses.

When I ran into Bob, he asked me to play a game of hide and seek. Sure, why not? Agent S and Robin were the other two hiders; I had a full 15 minutes to find them all.

Bob: If you find all 3 of us in 15 minutes or less, you win! If you don't find everyone, we win!I found Agent S really quickly, just a bit south of town hall.

Agent S: OK, so, like, here's what you should understand... There are still two people hiding out there, in my tux!But after that, I wasn’t having any luck at all. I made a full circle around town and still hadn’t found two of the three! My next trip around town yielded better results, but time was running out. I only had about three minutes left when I found Robin. And with two and a half minutes to go, I finally found Bob.

Bob leans out from behind a tree...a tree that appears invisible from this angle. That was tougher than it should have been (considering I had 15 minutes), but at least I found them all eventually. Bob rewarded me with a nebuloid.

Bob: ...Oh, that's right, the winner deserves a prize, right? OK... Here's your prize: a nebuloid!

Late Night Rain

It was quite late at night by the time I got around to playing City Folk tonight. And sure enough, it was raining once again. I saw Avery near town hall, and I just knew he was going to have something to say about the weather.

Avery: Got some hop-ons? Welcome to Forest! Population: very wet! Ha ha, I drool! The rain waters the flowers of course, but it also makes rainbow stags more likely to appear. I spotted one and snagged myself an easy 10,000 bells.

I caught a rainbow stag! Someone tell me, already! Where's the rainbow?!And in Del’s house, I sat at this desk. For some reason, I didn’t remember actually sitting in this kind of desk before. It really seems to highlight how deformed and disfigured Animal Crossing characters are.

Me sitting at Del's desk with my overgrown head taking up all the space.Pascal was out standing on a bridge, in the rain. I looked for a scallop for him, but there were none. I went to talk to him anyway. His words weren’t as deep or insightful as usual. It wouldn’t let me save the picture I took, but he said “Cars, maaaan? They scare me.” Very helpful there, buddy.

Rainy Season

The rainy season is now in full swing, with more rain today. As usual, Del was complaining about it.

Del, holding an umbrella in the rain: Oh, give me a break... Grrr. Look at this weather! Nothing puts me in a bad mood like a rainstorm!I didn’t need to water my flowers of course, but I still checked for new black roses; I found one.

Then I also visited with some of my neighbors, including Bob. He asked me to make a delivery to Jeremiah for him.

Bob: I'd do it myself, but I promised my couch that I'd spend some quality time with it today...I found Jeremiah on my main ramp and gave him the gift. It was a gelato shirt.

Jeremiah: A gelato shirt, huh?I returned to Bob to tell him I completed the job he gave me. He thanked me and gave me a green rug as a reward.

Bob: Huh huh huh huh! Nothing screams "Chill J" like a green rug!And after I was done in Forest, I took the bus to the city; it was raining there as well. I went into the theater to see which emotions they had, since I hadn’t yet checked them for this week. I was irritated that they still don’t have “agreement” or “outrage” yet. I’ve been trying to get those emotions for almost four years now.

I point my cursor to "irritation" as the clerk asks what show I would like to see.
