Shortly after 7:00 tonight, I opened up my Bananas gate for the fireworks festival. To my surprise, Jake was the only visitor I had. My town had tons of weeds, so I was picking them practically all night.
My villager Wendy commented on my bedhead and asked if I had been sleeping for seven months.
Of course Tortimer was handing out sparklers and roman candles, so I kept burning Jake.
We also watched the fireworks in the sky, even though they’re not as impressive as they are in New Leaf.
My animals were all shocked to see me. I was shocked to see some of them too, since I don’t even remember all of them.
I noticed that Rod was keeping a tarantula right next to his baby. Is that such a good idea? Even if the tarantula’s cage was completely secured, wouldn’t that scare a baby mouse to know a hungry spider probably bigger than him is right next to his bed?
The villager Al apparently just moved into Bananas today. He came from the town of Newnan–I don’t even know whose town that is. If you know, please leave a comment below!
I ended the party around 8:15. To be honest, I am disappointed that only one person showed up. I guess everyone’s moved on to playing New Leaf instead of City Folk. I may not bother opening up Bananas again since there doesn’t seem to be much interest in it any more.
Later on, I played in my regular town Forest. I saw a bit of the fireworks here too. Bob told me that when they’re over, he wanted a snow cone. Good thing I’m not wearing my snowcone shirt any more.
I watered my flowers and on the way, I spotted a tarantula. I got my net out, crept up to the large hairy spider, and caught it!
That’s all for tonight, but I’ll be back again soon with another update. In case you don’t know, I update this ACCF blog about three times a week. I update my New Leaf blog daily. So check that out if you need a daily dose of Animal Crossing updates. I’ll see you all next time!
