Eyelash Extensions

Wendell was in town today, and Robin was talking about him. She seemed annoyed that he’s best known for his artwork, when all he seems to want to talk about is food.

Robin: But he's always more interested in scarfing down food than showing off his designs!Up on the moon, Ribbot was telling me about the Bug-Off scheduled for tomorrow. He thinks he already has the competition locked up, and he told me to prepare to lose.

Ribbot: I'm in it to win it, so you better start working on preparing yourself to lose hard, I drool!Outside, Jeremiah and Becky seemed to be playing a word game of some sort. Jeremiah would say a letter, and name a word that started with that letter. But Becky would say something completely different. So either Becky was confused about the game, or I misunderstood it.

Becky: ...Eyelash extensions. It was a nice peaceful night in Forest, and not a whole lot was going on. But I watered my flowers and found two new black roses.

See you next time!

20 Million Bells

Today, Felicity was telling me about a cute boy she met on a bus. She thought things were going well, until he asked her for a barf bag. Yeah, I can see how that could kill the mood. I wonder if his name was Ralph.

Felicity: But THEN! Do you know what he said?! "Would you happen to have a barf bag?"I also ran into Melba on my evening walk. She was daydreaming about being rich someday, and having a bunch of butlers bring her peach pie. Keep dreaming, Melba.

Melba: And I'll have a beautiful family and a host of butlers to bring me all the peach pie I can eat!I’ve noticed that 30% of my villagers (three out of ten) are frogs: Jeremiah, Lily, and Ribbot. Speaking of Ribbot, he was telling me that he gives off a rugged, outdoorsman vibe. Sorry, but I don’t think any robot has ever given off a vibe like that.

Ribbot: I may give off that rugged, extreme, outdoorsman vibe, but I like to kick it indoors, too.I sold some things that were in my pockets and deposited the money into my bank account. My balance reached 20 million bells!

Your current balance is 20,000,000 bells.

Fireworks in Bananas

Shortly after 7:00 tonight, I opened up my Bananas gate for the fireworks festival. To my surprise, Jake was the only visitor I had. My town had tons of weeds, so I was picking them practically all night.

A bunch of weeds and clovers on the ground in the town of Bananas. My villager Wendy commented on my bedhead and asked if I had been sleeping for seven months.

Wendy: Ohmigosh! That's, like, a 7-month span! Have you been SLEEPING THAT ENTIRE TIME?!Of course Tortimer was handing out sparklers and roman candles, so I kept burning Jake.

Jeff burning Jake with a roman candle outside of town hall.We also watched the fireworks in the sky, even though they’re not as impressive as they are in New Leaf.

Jeff and Jake watching fireworks in Animal Crossing: City Folk.My animals were all shocked to see me. I was shocked to see some of them too, since I don’t even remember all of them.

Poncho: Did I get tackled too hard and start hallucinating, or is that Jeff?!I noticed that Rod was keeping a tarantula right next to his baby. Is that such a good idea? Even if the tarantula’s cage was completely secured, wouldn’t that scare a baby mouse to know a hungry spider probably bigger than him is right next to his bed?

A tarantula right next to the stroller in Rod's house. The villager Al apparently just moved into Bananas today. He came from the town of Newnan–I don’t even know whose town that is. If you know, please leave a comment below!

Al: I just moved here today from Newnan, so I'm still cleaning up. Oh, I'm Al, by the way.I ended the party around 8:15. To be honest, I am disappointed that only one person showed up. I guess everyone’s moved on to playing New Leaf instead of City Folk. I may not bother opening up Bananas again since there doesn’t seem to be much interest in it any more.

Later on, I played in my regular town Forest. I saw a bit of the fireworks here too. Bob told me that when they’re over, he wanted a snow cone. Good thing I’m not wearing my snowcone shirt any more.

Bob: When this is finished, I want a snow cone.I watered my flowers and on the way, I spotted a tarantula. I got my net out, crept up to the large hairy spider, and caught it!

I caught a tarantula! I don't wanna arm-wrestle this guy! That’s all for tonight, but I’ll be back again soon with another update. In case you don’t know, I update this ACCF blog about three times a week. I update my New Leaf blog daily. So check that out if you need a daily dose of Animal Crossing updates.  I’ll see you all next time!
