Today was the day of the fishing tournament, where the biggest fish wins. So I went to the ocean, and before long, I fished out a tuna! I was feeling good about my chances as I took it to Chip. He measured it and it was 77.2 inches long. However, Lily had caught a tuna that was 77.6 inches long!
Wait wait wait. She’s not even that big herself! You’re telling me that a cute little frog caught a 6.5 foot tuna? She’d have a better chance of catching Jim Halpert! The 6:00 deadline was fast approaching, and I hurried back to the ocean to look for more huge fish shadows. Sadly, there were no more to be found. Chip later confirmed that Lily had won the competition.
I went to find that fish-finding, froggy friend of mine, but she made no mention of the fishing competition. Instead, she just told me I should pluck flowers off the ground and put them in my house! It might make my home look better, but what about the town?
Outside, I talked with my other frog, Ribbot. I was kind of skipping through what he was saying until I saw this:
After 8:00, I went up to the museum and down to the Roost to check out K.K.’s performance. I asked him for a random song and he played The K. Funk for me.
After the show, I went outside and saw the northern lights up in the sky.
Tom Nook had a common painting for sale, and when Nook sells a painting, it’s always real. So I bought it and offered it for free to whoever needed it on the ACCF Friend Exchange page. Alvina needed it, so I took it to her real quick.
I then returned home and ended my game for the night.
