I had a letter in the mail from “TNPS” today, and I wasn’t sure what that meant. But then I saw that it was my Midna’s mask from Nook’s Point Tracking System. So I put on my new mask. It doesn’t exactly match my snow shirt, but it’ll have to do for now.
I saw a notice on the bulletin board that reminded me that Festivale is coming up on Monday (February 27th). It’s not my favorite event, but good luck to you if you choose to participate!
The three furniture items at Nook ‘n’ Go today were a storage case, a white golf bag, and a tiki torch. The tiki torch always reminds me of Survivor… and when I realized the other two items were basically a “work” item and a “play” item, this came to mind.
After going up the ramp, I noticed Opal down below. I decided to give her a shower sprinkle with my watering can.
I found a house where Twiggy previously lived, so I went in to investigate. Inside, I found Freckles the duck. She just arrived in town, and she hasn’t finished unpacking yet. I also have her in my secondary GameCube town of Ohio.
When I visited Benedict, I saw that he was sick with a cold. So I gave him some medicine. He needs to be healthy before I cook him um, because being sick is no fun.
After circling around town, I had a chat with Savannah. She asked me for some plantlike furniture. But Nook didn’t have any, Crazy Redd didn’t have any, the recycle bin didn’t have any, and I didn’t have any in my house.
My last resort was to try shaking trees. But the very first tree I shook had something else in it: Bees. And because my reflexes are practically plantlike, the bees got me. 😛 Although, this mask does hide my bad eye.
When I ran into Opal again, she wasn’t being very supportive. But then again, I did dump water on her earlier, so I guess her rudeness was understandable.
I continued shaking trees, but I found more bees (four) than furniture items (two). And neither of those items were plantlike; they were a blue bookcase and a wooden box. Oh well, I guess I can’t help Savannah out this time. Hopefully there will be more opportunities in the future.
The snow will be gone by tomorrow morning, so enjoy the beginning of spring! 🙂
