Kitty was sick with a cold today. She looks so sad and depressed that it was kind of funny. 😛
Saharah was in town again today, looking for old wallpaper. So I began asking my villagers, and Nan happily gave me some.
Outside, Chow told me that he was planning on moving out of town soon.
I told him not to go, but he didn’t change his mind.
After a stop at Nook ‘n’ Go, I took some medicine over to Kitty.
Other than Nan, none of my villagers had old wallpaper for me. But fortunately, I had two of them in storage. So I took all three back to Saharah, and she gave me a mortar wall. Again! That’s what she gave me last week! I guess this makes her my mortar enemy.
I then took the bus out to the city. While there, I had a chat with my old friend Biskit, who mentioned a girl from Jannali. Jannali was Brian’s town. It’s kind of interesting how characters will remember the players you’ve played with before, even though it’s been years since Nintendo pulled the plug on the service.
Aww, I like Nan’s house…for obvious reasons 😛
Maybe you should give Saharah the mortar wall next time.
I’d like to, but she’ll only accept ones that are actually named “old wallpaper.”
Wow 6,000 photos congrats!
Thanks. It’s not really much of an accomplishment though, as much as just an interesting footnote. Just happened to notice the file name was #6000.
6,000 pictures? I’ve saved 1… I’m not a photographer. Congratulations!
Haha, thanks.
Kitty lived in my City Folk town! I liked her because she shares her name with one of my cats (I have four).
It is pretty interesting that the villagers never seem to forget wifi friends. My villagers in City Folk and Wild World kept mentioning my ex years after I had removed him from my roster. XP
I can see how villagers mentioning the ex could be annoying.
It was especially awkward because after we broke up (and it was a BAAAAAAAD breakup), my younger brother went on a rampage and destroyed my ex’s Wild World town. Like, utterly destroyed it.
Exactly why I ended up obliterating my GameCube town and wouldn’t touch another “Animal Crossing” game until “Wild World” came out and my little sister wanted me to play with her (we already each had our own DSs). Just deleting his character didn’t help; a lot of fish and bugs in the museum were credited to “a former resident”, and someone from the town he’d already had before we met had moved to mine thus still mentioned him and showed me his letters.
Oh lordy, that’s awful. In those cases you should just burn it down and salt the Earth.
