I visited Dotty tonight, and she was talking about what kinds of parties we could throw. She suggested an iced coffee party or a zydeco dance party (whatever that is).
Today was Tank’s last day before he rolled out of town. He told me to take a good look, because he flexed for me one last time. 😛
Midge was outside, rocking her bikini. Although I’m starting to wonder if she was trying to flirt with me. 😛
She told me that Sophie from Solotown designed the pattern. I wonder if Sophie would be surprised that animals are still wearing her bikini after all these years.
I visited Tangy, and I hopped into her bed. As I jumped out, I temporarily merged into her face. It was like dunking my head into a bucket of orange juice. Sweet! 😛
I had a chat with Tank this evening, and he informed me that he’s leaving town. I didn’t try to stop him.
When I visited Midge, I noticed that her head matches her furniture. How lovely.
Outside, Opal told me she locked herself out of her house and can’t find her key. Now she’s afraid she’ll never be able to nibble beet salad while dancing to heavy metal music again!
I wasn’t interested in fishing her key out of the river, so I carried on with my walk around town.
When I visited Tangy, she acted as if she hadn’t seen me in years! She told me about how she was sick and lonely, and she had to take medicine she had lying around the house. ALL LIES! I gave her medicine last week! But apparently, once wasn’t enough for her, so she won’t even acknowledge that I helped her out. How rude.
Just after 7:00 this evening, I stopped to take a look up at the pretty, purple evening sky. My castle gate also added to the aesthetic appeal of this picture.
Saharah was in town today, looking for old wallpaper.
So I began asking my villagers for wallpaper as I made my way around town. Poor Tangy was sick, though. Maybe she hasn’t been eating enough Vitamin C.
After a stop at Nook ‘n’ Go, I returned with some medicine. As she flipped to drink it down, her big orange head lined up with a big orange on her wallpaper.
I went into Poncho’s house, but I didn’t see Poncho. Oh yeah, he moved out already. Instead, I found Groucho! He just arrived in town, moving into the same spot where Poncho lived. See, I told you this spot never stays empty for long! 😛 As for Groucho himself, I’m not a big fan.
After speaking with all of my villagers, only Static and Tank had old wallpaper to give me.
Fortunately, I had two extras in storage. So I took them one of them, along with the two from Static and Tank, back to Saharah. She took them and gave me an ancient wall in return. Not only did I need this for my checklist, but it’s been one I had wanted long ago. I even had the ancient tile (floor) to go with it, waiting in storage next to an empty slot. 😛
Now I finally have the matching set. It only took me nine years. 😉
I rode Kapp’n’s bus out to the city, and I saw something else that’s quite rare: Frillard! He was performing at the marquee (theater) for the “thought” emotion, so I made sure to check it out. I don’t think I’ve attended a Frillard show since February 2013.
After the show, I chatted with Pudge, who also saw the performance. He called Frillard a living fossil! 😛
But then he conceded that Dr. Shrunk is better. As for me, I’m not so sure. They’re both pretty awful.
Anyway, this performance is something I needed for a future video. But I still need to find something else that’s pretty rare before I can finish up the video…a UFO sighting.
