On Saturday night, Opal told me that she’s prettier than a field of fireflies. Is comparing yourself to some insects really the new standard for beauty? Okay, if you say so, Opal. 😛
Samson suggested a new nickname for me, and it’s a very spectral special name. J-boo!
Maybe it’s just because I’ve been playing a lot of Mario games lately, as I made my Mario’s Morning Routine video, but this is all that came to mind.
I made some preparations for my next ACCF video, and I’ve been playing City Folk every day this week. I’m waiting for a sunny day to record the video, but every day since Sunday has been cloudy or raining. I know the rainy season will end on July 1st, but I’m hoping I don’t have to wait that long for one nice day. We’ll see.
Tabby had been asking me for some new clothes, so I bought her a military uniform at Able Sisters on Monday. I thought I maybe I could send her off to join the army or something. But when I took it over to her, she refused it! How rude!
Drift told me he planned on moving out of town, but fortunately, I was able to talk him out of it.
On Tuesday, Kabuki told me he’s really into watching soccer lately. He must be enjoying the World Cup competition that’s going on right now!
Pascal was in town on Wednesday, but I couldn’t find a scallop to give him. But I still spoke with him to hear his words of wisdom. He said that ideals are single flowers planted in the desert.
Yesterday, Kitty asked me for a ladybug. I caught one for her, and she rewarded me with a concrete wall.
Today, I bought a sunset top at Able Sisters. Maybe wearing something bright and cheery will help with the cloudy day week blues.
Clyde came down with a cold, so he needed some medicine. I bought some horse pills for him, since it just cost a mare mere 320 bells. I galloped back to his house, and handed him the medicine. Hopefully he’ll get some thorough bed rest and be back in the saddle soon. 😉
Virtually everyone has been saying “tweedledee” as their catchphrase, and it’s been annoying me lately. So when a few villagers asked me to change to something new, I jumped at the chance. Static now says “buzz off,” Opal now says “ol’ pal,” and Midge says “on Twitter.”
Speaking of Midge, I made a delivery for her, and she rewarded me with an old brick wall. What’s with all these hard walls as gifts lately? 😛
And after selling some fruit and fossils, my bank account balance reached 32 million bells. I’m sure I’ll add to that over the summer, especially in July and August, when all the rare summer beetles come out.
Okay, that’s all I have for now. But I hope to be back soon with a new blog entry and video. I’ll probably post the video the day after I record it… So if it’s sunny in Forest tomorrow, I’ll post the video Sunday. But it could take a bit longer if the weather doesn’t cooperate.
Have a good weekend!
