I found a new house in town, right next to Tabby’s house. Inside, I found Limberg the ugly, cheesy, orange mouse. Yikes.
Great. Now I have two ugly, stinky villagers, and they just happen to be next-door neighbors!
In town hall, I checked the recycle bin, but there was nothing new inside. But seeing the fish bones on the lid made me think. Why are there fish bones? They call it a recycle bin, not the dump. So why would you recycle fish bones? And wouldn’t that make town hall smell nasty? Maybe Limberg should work here.
At the Roost, I attended a Saturday night performance by K.K. Slider. I told him I was feeling good (despite Limberg’s arrival), so he played a “peppy” song called K.K. Parade for me.
Not much else was going on in Forest tonight. But I have been making progress in my 2nd town of Mushroom. Here’s the latest episode of my video series, Mario Plays ACCF, if you’re interested:
It’s official: Kabuki is no longer a Forest resident. I got his goodbye letter in the mail today.
Drift the frog was sick with a cold, so I gave him some medicine. Hopefully he’ll start to feel better soon.
Pascal was in town, so I went down to the beach and found a scallop for him. His “words of wisdom” this time said that if you never win a game, you still have a perfect record. Sounds like the Browns last year. 😛 Anyway, Pascal gave me the sea view (wallpaper) as my reward.
Today, I posted the latest episode in my Mario Plays ACCF series. This time, Mario plays hide-and-seek, recovers a lost key, and meets Pascal for the first time. And of course, there are some Mario related surprises throughout the video. 🙂 Here it is:
If you have any feedback about the video, or questions about my town of Mushroom, feel free to ask in the comments on this page or on Youtube.
In last week’s video (Mario Plays ACCF #3), Mario used the DS Suitcase feature to visit Forest (to pick up the Mario outfit I left for him). But after returning to the town of Mushroom, Mario encountered something I didn’t expect in the city:
That’s Ribbot the robotic frog, but the interesting part is his catchphrase. Mr. Roboto is the custom catchphrase I gave Ribbot when he lived in Forest. That’s right, my Ribbot–who lived in Forest in 2014–has moved to Mario’s town of Mushroom!
He moved out in August of that year, which was after online play officially ended. So that Ribbot has apparently been stored in my town’s data, just waiting for another town to go to. It’s like the “void” in New Leaf; he just hasn’t had a chance to go anywhere until now. He may or may not move into Mushroom, but I thought it’s an interesting scenario regardless.
Anyway, back in Forest, Midge was talking about the Bug-Off coming up tomorrow. But with her catchphrase, she made the Bug-Off sound like part of her daily mite-removal routine. 😛
And when I went to visit Kabuki, I was sad to see he had his furniture all packed up in boxes. He’s moving out of town. 🙁
I don’t like seeing him go, but on the bright side, maybe his house plot (which was also Bob’s house plot years ago) will be empty in time for my 10th anniversary video. If that’s the case, I could re-plant some purple roses there to remember Bob. Hopefully my next villager won’t move into the same spot. Unless it was Bob…but that’s extremely unlikely. 😛
If you haven’t yet seen my latest episodes of Mario Plays ACCF, here’s last week’s video…
And here is this week’s video, Mario Plays ACCF #4. Mario gets a slingshot, meets Celeste, makes a constellation, and gets his first emotion from Dr. Shrunk.
Update: I forgot to mention this, but I did re-create the 3-way intersection patterns, and I finished placing the path in Forest. I also remembered to save those designs at Able Sisters this time.
