Hiding Behind Sterling

Puck told me that he was recently in a race with Limberg and Bones. Limberg won the race, which wasn’t surprising to me. He was probably running fast to escape his own stench. Bones finished second; he probably had to stop for a nap (or for a “snack run”). And Puck came in last place.

Puck: I was in a race a while ago. Limberg came in first places, Bones came in second place...

Sterling asked me to play a game of hide-and-seek, and I agreed. I had ten minutes to find him, Bones, and… wait, who else is playing?

Sterling: So us, we're the hiders. Sizzly J, you're the seeker!

Sterling’s suit of armor is so big that I couldn’t see who the other hider was! Or maybe he/she just starting hiding a bit too soon! 😉

As soon as the game started, I spotted Sterling immediately! I didn’t even have to move!

Sterling is visible from the start of the game.

It took me a few minutes to find Bones; he was hiding behind Sterling’s house. And about two minutes after that, I found Puck–he was the mystery player. He was surprised I found him because he was sucking in his belly.

Puck: How did you find me?! I was sucking in my belly and everything!

I can already see the difference between GameCube Puck and City Folk Puck. GameCube Puck often calls me fat, while City Folk Puck seems to poke fun at his own weight.

Anyway, finding him allowed me to win the game. Sterling gave me a mini gargloid as my prize.

At the fountain, I threw an axe to say hello to Serena. 😉

Serena: Just because you get a little praise, doesn't mean you should get a big head about it. Sheesh.

I made a trip to the city to finally get my hair dyed brown again. When I returned to town, I found Pascal standing on a bridge. I gave him a scallop, and in return, he gave me a ship cannon. He also had some words of wisdom about giving things a try, even if you think you’re not good at them.

Pascal: Kids who think they're not good at stuff usually end up being good at it, maaan. Ya just gotta try.

Have a great weekend, everyone!
