On Monday, I found a new villager house in town. A chicken named Knox was inside. He wears a gold helmet, and the gold is likely a reference to Fort Knox (which is known for storing much of the United States’ gold reserves).
But the more interesting thing is that I already have Sterling in my town, who also wears a knight’s helmet (but his is silver). What’s with all the helmets? Is the sky falling, and I don’t know it yet?
I played again tonight, and the arrival of November brings mushrooms. The very first one I picked up ended up being a piece of mush furniture…an end table, to be exact.
Kitty was sick, so I gave her some medicine that I already had in my pockets. It may have been expired, but it’s for Kitty, so who cares? 😛
Of the four villagers who live in the northeast corner of town, three of them were home tonight. And all three of them asked me for either a bug or a fish. Mitzi asked me for a pill bug, Puck wanted a rainbow trout, and Roald demanded a flea.
A pill bug is the easiest of those to catch, so I quickly captured one for Mitzi. She rewarded me with 532 bells.
I then went fishing in the river for a rainbow trout. But after fishing for about 25 minutes without a single rainbow trout, I gave up my search. As for the flea, that’s not something you can really search for. I listened when I walked by each villager I saw outside, but I didn’t encounter any of those either. Sorry, penguins.
I did not participate in the Halloween festivities in any Animal Crossing game this year, but I did post a Halloween poem on Youtube. It involves Animal Crossing characters, but it takes place in Luigi’s Mansion. Check it out if you’d like!
And speaking of Luigi’s Mansion, I just posted my first impressions of Luigi’s Mansion 3 on my gaming blog here.
I hope you all had a great Halloween! I’ll see you all next time. 🙂 Never Stop Crossing!
