Dressing the Queen

Last night, Queenie asked me for a green tie-dye shirt. I just had to take a screenshot because of the look on her face. 😛

Queenie: Aha, Jeff! Just the person I needed!

I didn’t have that shirt, but I ordered one from my catalog in case I played again today (which I did). But more on that later.

Pascal was in town last night, and he said that only runners can see the faces of other runners. I guess he means that the runners are going too fast for bystanders to see their faces? I kinda get what he means, but it’s not quite true…unless the runners are running at the speed of light. 🏃

Pascal: Only runners can see the faces of other runners, maaaan. Ouch! My braaain!
His eyes looked a bit frightening as well.

I gave him a scallop before he plunged into Forest River, and he gave me a ship compass in return.

I later listened in on a conversation between Rasher and Gwen. Gwen said that she never does laundry because she just buys new clothes whenever her clothes get dirty. Wow, she must be rich to be able to do that! Hmm, is her last name Stefani? 🤔

Rasher: Gwen, are you really telling me that you never do laundry at all? Ever? Woof woof?

I played again today (Saturday), and the green tie-dye came in the mail. I took it over to Queenie, and she put it on, and then thanked me by giving me some checkered tile.

Queenie: What?! This is the clothing I asked for! You came through for me!

At the Roost, I asked K.K. for a random song, and he played K.K. Calypso for me.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: K.K. Calypso.

I ran down the dead end (in the eastern part of town) and found Tom. He pinged me and told me he was thinking about moving out of town! I told him not to go, and he immediately agreed to stay.

Tom: Well, I guess I don't wanna be hasty before I just run off to a strange town...

I was glad he gave a definitive answer instead of being vague. But I think I’m lucky I spotted him there, because I don’t always go walking down that dead end. It’s pretty rare to find a villager there!

See you all next time! Never Stop Crossing! 🙂
