Too Country Guitar?

Tonight, Lucky told me he was thinking of moving out of town. What’s with all my dogs trying to leave me? I told him not to go, and he said he didn’t know if he could get out of it…but he’ll try asking if he can stay.

Lucky: Y'know, Chill J, I've been thinking of moving out of Forest. >Don't go!

It reminded me of what he said a couple months ago. So he may be safe, but I’m not 100% sure.

I went over to the Roost, but it was already after midnight, so I missed out on K.K.’s musical performance this week.

Gwen asked me to catch a firefly for her, and that’s one of the easiest tasks to complete. So I quickly snatched one up and took it over to her. She rewarded me with a classic wall.

Gwen: Oh, really and truly? It's the firefly I wanted!

I made a few trips on the beach, back and forth looking for valuable catches. But I didn’t see much, other than this shark.

That’s okay though, because prime bug-hunting season starts next week! 🙂

Wolfgang asked me for some musical furniture, and fortunately, Nook ‘n’ Go had a country guitar for sale. Wolfgang ultimately gave me 532 bells for it, which is less than the 680 bells I paid to buy it.

Wolfgang: Nothing... Nothing is too country guitar for me to get ahold of!
You’re using “country guitar” as an adjective?

Even though I completed a couple of villager requests tonight, there were two others I didn’t complete. Tom wanted some TV-tastic furniture (a TV, in other words), and Spork wanted me to fish his key out of the river. I was unable to find a TV for Tom, and unwilling to help Spork. 😛

Fish-tastic

I spoke with Goldie tonight, and she was considering moving out of town! 😱

Goldie: I guess what I'm saying is, I'm thinking about moving...

I already lost one of my favorite dogs (Bones) this month, so I’m not about to lose her too! I told her to stay (like a good dog), and she agreed to reconsider.

Queenie asked me to catch a barred knifejaw for her, and I said I’d try to help out. I thought the task might be hard, but it wasn’t: I caught a barred knifejaw on my first try! 😮

Queenie: This is absolutely fish-tastic! You've found me the barred knifejaw I asked for!

I took it over to her, and she rewarded me with a ball catcher.

Gwen the pengwen penguin was sick with a cold, so I gave her some medicine. Get well soon!

Even though most of the lucrative summer bugs and fish aren’t out until July, there are some that can be caught now. So I went up and down the beach to see what I could find. My haul included a goliath beetle, three rainbow stags, a regular shark, and a hammerhead shark.

I caught a hammerhead shark!

I made about 85,000 bells on the night. I love my summer night beach runs. And they’re going to get even better in just a couple more weeks! 🙂

See you all next time!

Pig Trouble

When I spoke to Queenie tonight, she got excited when she noticed I was wearing a GracieGrace brand item (a pulse shirt).

Queenie: That's a GracieGrace-brand item!

But then she said she shouldn’t be surprised, since I live in a “huge mansion with a basement.” 🙄 Excuse me for not living with my head buried in the sand.

When I visited Rasher, he was standing between two lockers in his house. (Does that qualify as a meat locker?) Why does he need two lockers facing each other anyway? It’s such an odd combination.

Rasher: Take a close look at the ground, woof woof. See those cracks in the dirt? I always dig those up.
Were you sniffing for truffles?

It was K.K. night, so I headed down to the Roost to catch a song. K.K. performed Agent K.K. for me. It seems like I just heard this song recently, although I don’t remember which game it was in. 😛

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: Agent K.K..

My (unrealistic) hopes of getting Bob were dashed when I went into a new house in the southwest part of town. Instead, I got Spork.

Spork: Whew... Unpacking sure is hard work! I think I'm actually breaking a sweat for the first time in years...
I thought pigs don’t sweat. That’s why you need to roll in mud.

Just what I needed, another ugly pig! Maybe I’ll have to host a bacon-slicing party. Don’t forget to bring a knife and a Spork!
